DIY DIY THC test at home !

Very cool Slightly, thanks. Each plate can test 5 samples, so at about $6 a test, really not all that expensive. Bookmarked and added to my wish list! :thumbs:

No problem yeah that's what I figured and not being In a med state it will have to do for now I will hopefully be ordering one in a week or so I'll let everyone know when it gets here I'm excited to test some autos :group:

I have used Cannalytics and find the results way too subjective to be of value. The stains on the plates are measured by diameter using a card with holes of increasing size which would be fine if the stains had clearly defined margins but they do not. In holding the cards up over a hole one could claim as much as 10% to 25% depending on how you eyeball the margins. That just does not give me any value I can rely on. Her are some tests I ran. The spots 3rd from the top are the ones you are supposed to measure THC. The second from the top is CBD. I ran the same samples twice hoping to get a better margin.

Best way IMO is to burn with some friends and see which ones takes a nap and ask for snacks first. (Provided they are average smokers). I was taught when I was 13 that if one pinchie bat worth doesn't do the trick in 10 mins and last 30 mins then it's not worth buying. Still use this rule today to judge my grows and I hand out full samples. Only problem i have is keeping enough around.
