New Grower Do autos smell as strong as Photos after harvest?

just wondering if autos can stink as much as photos? i have some candy kush and wipout express that you can smell undertunes of skunk but its not pugnent like some of the buds my buddies have? i read that chemical feritlizers mainly used in hydro setups make the buds give off a more chemical smell. can anyone fill me in on why my buds smell so different from others is it because i use soil? wipout has been in jars for about a week and candy kush two week, is it because i need to let them cure more? but when i smoke it and come back in to the room where i was it smell sooooo dank, so its not a weak smell when its smoked but in the jars and in a bag its not strong at all. i have to say my wipeout smell the most right now but its had the least amount of cure is it just the strain?

The smell will get better with age. A month cure what works best for me. And my auto stuff smells every bit as stinky as most photos I buy :Sharing One:

It's mainly strain dependent. I've grown autos that are more pungent than photos and vise versa.
