Mephisto Genetics Do buds grow last two weeks?

pictures would help in determining how long you to go

I"m on the home stretch with a plant and to me there is no more growth happening that I can see. But the trich's are not cloudy yet. Is this typical?
Give it some time it should start packing on some weight now if everything is in check.

its just a general question.

I should post a pic then. Removes any doubt. This plant is already packed on the weight. I don't think buds are developing any more weight now. I'm just curious in general when it comes to the life cycle if bug growth stops or slows way down and its just a waiting game for the trichs to go cloudy.

Here is a recent picture. The yellowing is prob related to an issue earlier where the medium was too dense for the autopot bottom feeding wicking to be effective and it was starved. I switched to hand watering this plant after I realized this, but you can tell the issue left its mark. The trichs are for the most part still clear. But no real growth any more, unless it's so slow I can't see it.

A lot of density will be forming in the last couple of weeks...patience is a true virtue at that point in the grow! Weight is forming!!

That makes sense. I'm a very impatient driver. Get those old coots out of my way! But for trichs I can wait a long time. I just got a zeiss microscope from a university lab and that thing gives me a very clear no doubt about it view of the trichs and I'm going let that tell me when to chop. And if they get more dense while I'm waiting, all the better.

Quite a lot of weight will come in the last 2 weeks. Eye those trichs closely!!

This is a very good question and I encountered the same issue with my grow of Sour Bubbly, Heisenberg Special and deep blue C. My trics were getting cloudy but very little amber and I had to take my plants to close to 100 days. Way over the time frame listed by breeder. I grew in 2 gallon, organic soil and two 400 watt lamps( MH and HPS). I checked and checked the trics, noticed no increase in bud size and kept going. They still did not much amber when I harvested at that time frame. Great report from my independent tester though: That was good shit !!! So I am happy with the results, just took 20 or more days longer than Mephisto site stated for those strains.

Waiting has only ever produced better results for me. I can tell when a plants done because it stops drinking and buds are flopping. The flop is usually a good indicator. If you’re using silica though you may not get the flop. Dark brown pistols are a good indicator she’s ready. Good luck!
