i have a 6x6 grow witha quantum 600 and couple meizhi. its pretty easy to keep cool without pumping out air out the room. i have a 4 in carbonfilter/fan from my previous, smaller, grow tent. should that be enough to mask the smell? could i get ataller filter? or do i need the bigger fan?

cant go wrong with bigger better fan n filter. Especially if you have smell concern
And also depends on plant sizes and how much the strains stink.
Id keep some $ aside in case you need to get an order in come flower time to be safe

I'm in a 4x4 currently with a 6" fan/filter, however I previously had a 4x4 that I used a 4" fan/filter and it was a laborious affair for that size. Since your only concern is odor, then the 4" "might" work. I have a 2x2 drying tent in a stand up shower and I run a 4" fan/filter and don't even reach a quarter speed and that is fine for odor. 6x6 would be quite the work out for the 4", but you just don't know until you give it a shot before you buy a bigger fan/filter.
