Cannabis used to make tinctures as well as other edible cannabis products requires decarboxylation

Absolutely not!

You can even have a same day as harvest edible if you have a temp controlled food dehydrator. A fan blowing into a warm oven might simulate one. 110 F for around 8 hours, or until 80% of the original weight is lost will do the job.
I do this when I can't stand the wait.

Here's the simplest, fastest possible edible:
(1) Decarb the herb @ 240 F for 40 min
(2) Grind to fine powder (grinding before decarb is too sticky)
(3) Mix into any nut butter, nutella, or into the oil of any recipe.
Be careful, because each gram of good herb used (~15%) will contribute 150 mg to the finished edible.
This method is about twice as strong, gram for gram of original herb, as making strained oil/butter first.
It is very similar to many internet firecracker recipes, but is slightly stronger.
