Okay Everyone, So today I witnessed my neighbours dog for the 3rd time this week Piss all over my girls today:no: So Im not gonna confront my neighbours because I dont need problems Stones slap But Im Worried the dog's urine will Ruin the P.h and burn them, if not kill them... Any Advice or Knowledge anyone has on the effects of dogs peeing on your garden, or any way to prevent it? Plus its kinda gross lol. Thanks :tiphat:

They are currently in a 2.5' x 4.5' mesh greenhouse but the dog does his buisness all over it, so more or less the urine actually gets on the leaves more than the soil. but I open up the door during the day for better circulation, so he has full access during the day :S I would hate to have to close the door due to this little bastard :beast: But Thanks for the input :gthumb:

It will definitely not do any good, I know dog piss kills grass but dunno bout herb.
Take evasive action immediately! & if they haven't just been watered..give them a real goad soak in now to try wash some of the piss through the pot, its gonna be lovely weather anyway so wont be counter productive.

Your best option if not in ground is to raise them higher than the dog can reach, other options would be covering the top of the pot/soil with something that will divert the piss elsewhere however this may have some side effects itself, not sure.
If possible, by far the best option is to raise the height or perhaps find a way of blocking the dogs entry point.

Thankfully they are in pots, I have neighbours on all 3 sides of my yard, but only a fence on 2 sides. I built the greenhouse mesh shelter to specifically hide them from prying eyes. I only made it 2.5W x 4.5L x 4H. It would be a matter of raising the greenhouse to accommodate my Girls size. Worse comes to worst then I'll have to do it, its just a pain in the ass.

Put 3 or 4 2 litre bottles full of water round your grow with the labels off them.. when the dog goes near it Will see its reflection and think its another dog and leave.
