Hoping this is an ok forum to post this question. potting up soil today for 1st grow. using roots organic original with perlite mixed in (rinsed and dried). Do I need to add dolomite to my soil? if so, ratio?? I am undecided on using grow bags (which I have) or should I just buy some regular ole pots ?? Thanks for the help, n advance !!!!!

To a certain degree, it depends on what you're going to be feeding....chemical nutes vs. organic.
Whether you're actively tracking pH and buffering feeds vs. not.

I'm of the mindset that it couldn't hurt and can possibly help - so why not?

Some may have a better insight.

ratio would be 1/2 to 1 tablespoon per gallon of medium??? Somewhere around there?

As to container, totally up to you :)

You may not have to worry about it then...
