I hear you brudda, I totally stuck my head in the sand during Black Friday- :rofl: too many auto's already, and too soon for next years photo's... plus no one site had all i wanted from Delicous, CBG and Original Delicatessen.... those African speed queens are top o' the list! :hump: I still think you should try one,....:eyebrows:
 
@Waira , blurple... another reason I never looked into led... I've always hated that effect....

I use digital dimmable (400W - 1175W) so I don't figure gpw because back when I felt good enough to manipulate them start to finish I was playing with spectrum and W regularly.

The ones I am doing anymore are just lucky to get fed semi regular...

So right off the bat i made a mistake...ive been opting to use the lazy assed way of seedlings and presoaking the pots the day i put the seeds in paper towel. This technique worked great in my old setup that was super dry and high circulation. But my new setup is cool(70F), and the dang pots dont want to dry out!! Here we are at almost 14 days and still damp...dammit, so now a few are showing overwatering signs. Also i have fungus gnats...not sure if they came from the space or the promix, but i have them! All i can do right now is i layered the top of the soil and the drainholes with diamascus earth. Hoping thats enough to take care of the little buggers....first time i have had to deal with those little black buggers!

Haven't had to deal with those yet. I hope you get them knocked back. It do have to deal with those wet pots sometimes though it can be maddening. I've resorted to making more holes in the pots.

I should have had the foresight to know that the cool temps would have slowed the drying process(and i did, i just didnt realize it would slow it this much!!) Ive increased circulation on the soils surface by getting a better angle on my fan so that should help it immensely. Soon it wont matter, but a setback like this hurts a bit at this stage. Its all good. Ive already took the initiative and presoaked the destroyer and dinamex pots, but have not soaked the seed yet....i'll give it 4 days to dry out a bit, and then soak the seed. New space, new procedure to be learned!!

Another thing to do is dump a cup or so of bleach down each drain you have.

That is where your little black buddies like to lay eggs.

:bong: :haha: -- the Red-Eyed Gardener strikes again! :baked: ...... peat can be a bitch when the RH% goes up in low T's,... Bloody gnats are ubiquitous, I bet they were eggs in the mix! It's hard to believe they'd be active outside in your weather now,.... Mosquito bits are the ticket long term, the bacterium persists in the soil and keeps on killin'! You can test the Promix with a small made-up pot wrapped in a big bag to trap the vermin if they are there...

.... yeah I dig that they used Daqui' Lime for the parent in AD! :drool:
