Greets - I've been growing autos for 3 years and haven't yet experienced a plant with drooping leaves and stunted growth. Until now.

I thought that perhaps it was a problem of too much water, but after not watering for 5 days the plant hasn't changed. The leaves are drooping down and are curling at the end and the growth is stunted. I've attached a photograph of the plant I took yesterday (Night Queen - Dutch Passion seeds & day 14 from seedling). I'm also growing an auto Colorado Cookies from Dutch Passion in the same grow box, also on day 14, and this plant is healthy as can be.

Help! Thanks in advance for any and all replies! :toke:

Btw, this plant is growing in FoxFarm Ocean Forest Soil and using a 90W led ufo light, the same light that I've been using for 3 years. I only recently started applying General Hydroponics Nutes (FloraDuo A, FloraDuo B, Floralicious Plus), exact same setup as the auto Colorado Cookies. The nutes haven't made a difference one way or the other.

Another btw. I prepped the soil as I always do before planting and am using the same pots that I've been using for 3 years, so I don't think that there's a drainage issue. I'm stumped!

I'm with Nammy, OF can be too hot for certain strains, plus the added nutes might be a bit too much... though, no yellow/burnt tips yet -a good sign... this is an annoyingly variable thing with auto's, their tolerances for nute conc.'s! Also, there have been many problems with FF soils these days, mainly with them being badly sour right out of the bag-- talking low 5's pH here! --instant SNAFU usually,... so, check on the pH just to be sure,...

Thanks for the replies! I didn't know that FFOF was a problematic soil to use. My previous grow used soil from the same bag and all went well. Ditto for the Auto Colorado Cookies currently growing next to the auto Night Queen. I'll follow the advice and stop the nutes for now, although the plant was sickly before I starting giving her nutes. The soil is moist, I put my finger an inch into the soil and the soil was moist. Not like mud, but simply moist, so I reckon there's enough moisture in the soil without adding more for now. I'll check the ph too.

Thanks again for the help! I'll update this thread in a few days, hopefully with some good news. :toke:

...that's been the catch-- consistency! Some folks get bags that are OK, others get shwagg... I tested several bags last year, at the two horti'-store's I go to, with an Accurate 8 soil probe right into the bags-- OF and HF both... all were in the 5's ... this was after a round of stunted auto's earlier that season, which prompted me to get that A8 probe... and switch soil brands and never looked back... (Sanctuary Soil Victory blend-).... Let us know about the pH, mate, and we'll go from there,...:pass:

ph of 5.6. Other auto beans have done well with this bag of FFOF. Odd...
