hey guys
gonna chop my stardawg in a week but checked the weather forecast and it looks like its gonna be hot (26-30c) all week. i have a small 120x60x120cm drying tent with a 4” 100cfm inline fan on a carbon filter. rH is around 60% with no plants in it. will those temps be a problem? whats the best drying schedule for these numbers? any help would be great guys

I usually try to dry a little bit colder. Usually I aim for 72-74f which is like 22c I believe. I have my dehumidifier set to 60rh so it fluctuates between 57-65. The lower your temps the slower the dry and the slower the dry the better it will taste I've noticed. I would try to find some way to lower the temps if possible.

thanks mate. would a bottle
of ice by the passive intake drop temps?

Possibly. You can also look at DIY air conditioner it's like ice in a cooler with a fan. Not sure how long they last but seems like a cool idea.

Could always use a mixture of dryice to help keep ice cooler for longer periods.

thanks guys. im probably overthinking it. my dry tents in my outside shed and the max temps during the drying week is 28/29c (according to apple weather). humiditys around 65% so should be fine seeing as the temps arent a constant 28-29c as temps fall during the night and evening

I would still try to get the temp lower if possible. But good luck and keep a good eye on them for mold.
