Harvest & Curing Drying in grow tent

Well I was thinking from quite a distance away just so you can just feel a slightly warm breeze going into the tent? Yeah winter sucks lol

Many people swear by the paper bag dry and cure ... if my options were drying at under 60*f and the paper bag method indoors I would learn to like the paper bag method ...

Ive always sworn by hanging my trimmed up buds by there stems and drying like that. I've just found out my garage is insulated I'm a bit pleases with that as I was worrying because winter is just around the corner

Thank you so much for mentioning that I've just read up about it and definitely seems the way forward! Hate it when your hang dry and the smell of hay hits your nose! Do you actually keep the same smell with the paper bag method?

I don't use the paper bag method but a lot do and it makes sense in a lot of ways ... I'm sure there's a thread here on it ... there's a good chance that the paper bag technique could work to avoid the hay smell ...

hey mr. t-d i know some real experienced folks have answered already, and i agree with them all but i thought id drop in to!
i say YES to drying in a tent, thats ideal
i hang whole plants chopped at the base, leaf and all, in their own tent with a 4 inch carbon filter.
in three days i come in and remove nugs and put them in screens to finish. my RH in the room is usually around 40-50 when drying so it takes me about 6 days. this way im removing my nug half way through the drying. so in a total of 6 days i begin the cure!
for me, this method has given me the BEST results. i know for some space is an issue. i have extra rooms for my projects though since i live alone.
anyway, when i go through those steps i get buds that are killer and lay you out.
cheers man, hope you get some dope weed
. Hey @bolio.... Was curious if we could set up a time to PM a little further about how u do your tent cure as I'm going to b doing the same. 2x4 grow tent with 6" black ops carbon filter. At day 39 on my THC bomb autos.... Getting there!!!

Okay thanks for the reply! Just a quick question. When I'll be drying the tent will be in a garage and that will be December time. Could I put a heater blowing towards the inlet hole of the tent because it's going to be cold!

Hi Think, I'm drying in similar circumstances but have my lights on so I double brown bag above. It's not ideal, I keep bud on the stem at first to reduce overdrying. They get a final proper trimup before jarring.
