Yooo all , I’ve been drying my autoflowers for the last week in my tent , I’m on day 8 now and to me they seem way to moist still.. ( stems bending still , no snapping.) The temperature of the room is roughly 16/ 19 degree, I don’t no the humidity as I have been guesstimating pretty much the whole time of the room but I have my carbon filter fan on half way power. I was thinking of whacking it on full power and moving the air circulation fan closer to the buds .. I hang dried for 5 days then become to trim all buds of plants but then realised they were still to moist so are now drying on big try’s in the room… any thoughts ?

Humidity of your dry area is probably the culprit although longer dry is usually better given the 'right' parameters. A simple hydrometer would benefit you a lot in knowing your drying environ.

Did you hang them with all the fan leaves still attached? If so take the big fans off to help it dry out quicker.

There is nothing wrong with a 2 week long dry though. The slower the better. If you need to speed it up you can take the buds off of the branches also

I no mate I must admit I’ve been a bit careless I know I will be purchasing one ASAP ! :toke:

You can get a set of like 8 of them for $15 on Amazon.

I would reccomend getting the small ones so you can pop them into jars during the cure, rather than the ones made to monitor your homes humidity.

It will make the drying and curing process fool proof

If you get a hygrometer I highly recommend getting a Boveda calibration bag. Just pop the meters in the bag, seal it, and let it sit overnight. Then you will know if they are accurate or off a few %. It calibrates to 75%rh so just go from there.

Even the best hygros I've bought needed calibration. The better ones are adjustable but the cheapies not so, but, knowing the % difference makes the cheap ones accurate-ish.
