New Grower Dual Spectrum Light

Also the irony of someone known as blue not knowing about colours...
:d5:

lol. just kidding i love you blue.

I'll have a go :)

My LED for example is full cycle and contains these spectra and wavelengths

(Deep Red 8pcs,Red 2pcs, Blue 2pcs pcs, Cool white 2pcs, Infrared 1pc)

EPILED 630nm, 660nm, 725nm 460nm, 5700k

The reason there's so many red leds vs every other color is red light is physically and universally weaker than radiation of a shorter wavelength. In terms of the amount of photosynthetically active radiation available to the plant, you simply need more red sources as opposed to blue light which is exponentially more powerful (think UV and it's damaging effects). That's why there are only two blue leds in that spectral profile. And this is a ratio. Her light might contain anywhere from 20-100 individual leds. They use the white leds as filler and for secondary photosynthetic pigments and the infrared is probably just thrown in there for experimental value as there's currently a debate among those that are a little more educated than I on the subject of it's efficacy. Good marketing though. Separates you from the other companies, like the way Cali Light Works uses T-8 UVB bulbs to increase resin production... just a thought.
