New Grower Dumb Newbie Needs Some Fast Help!

Hi!

Relative newbie here.....only grow a couple plants at a time.

Here's my dilemna/problem:

I have to leave town unexpectedly tonight and will be gone for a little while. I have one plant that is flowering. I don't know whether I should (a) Just cut it down and put the buds in a bag to dry til I get back OR (b) Just let the plant continue to grow while I'm gone, even though it won't have light or water. Just let it live it's life out naturally.

Which would be a better option, in terms of final product? Should I cut the buds down prematurely (the "hairs" are still all white, very few amber hairs) OR should I just let it go?

If I take it now, it definitely won't be at peak potency.

But, will potency suffer if I just let it continue to go (without water and light) while I'm gone?

Hey man.well first things first.how long ya gonna be gone for and can it be left that long with zero issues.2 it can be done for a time but depends on temps,and fans and Humidty as well.you could potentialy water it well and make sure all your boxes are checked and if you'll be gone for a week lets say and your not worries about a fire ao anything of the like i say leave them.But you have to weigh the pro's n con's.So how long ya bouncing for?and are they all set up on timers?

Saw you have NO timers?water is ok as long as some air is moving but No light for a few days will mess the whole deal up.you have nothing to run on timers?well if you make oils to make eatables with that a viable option.

I'll be gone for a month. There are no timers. So, there will be no light and no water, except for what I give it tonight. It's not humid in the room, it's dry.

Oh a month yeah brother I hate to say it but ya gotta chop em without the basics they'll die.Sorry for your loss my friend.

chop em hang them where the largest room is to avoid any mold issues and they should be ok and when you get back make oil or whatever you desire.Be good and again sorry for your loss and please be safe in your travels as well.
