Try a few mosquito dunks rubbed together and top dress the top of the soil in your pots with a fine layer of the dunk dust and water as usual. It will help take care of those pesky gnats! And if they get too bad, wrap your air pots with panty hose. Each hole is like a different party room for those guys. If you get em under control early, you wont have much worries. Both straight away and it should take care of em quick! They breed crazy fast!

Can't resist posting a couple pics ; since they perked up this morning since the lights went back on yesterday evening ! They look like they got a bit taller in the last 15 hours also getting excited to feed them tomorrow !

Funny thing ! Last grow I had a small gnat problem ....this grow, not even one(knock on wood) it's just some dirt the fan maybe blew and stuck onto the cards ...I have the sticky strips up because I'm a paranoid freak ! Lol ...another shitty thing is that the pesticide laws here in my province are so strict that most are banned ...including the dunks with "BTI" bacteria ...go figure ? As for the panty hose trick , that's friggin awesome ! Remember reading a thread about it once where someone recommended it to fellow AFN member yodabuds if I'm not mistaken ...the amount of knowledge and experience on this site is just absolutely amazing thanks to people like yourself briman !

looking good! I have a couple blackberry, a week from chop. They will get big with some great color! I hit mine with some Stone dragon pollen and cant wait to give the offspring a go! keep up the great work!

Journal update "day 27" .... Just fed both girls , they both got 3 litres of water each with 1.25 ml of Dutch pro grow a+b , 1 teaspoon of GO cal/mag and also 1/16 of a teaspoon Raw Silica each girl ! After adding all the nutes the ph of the solution was 6.5-6.6 without having to add any ph down ..... Both seem healthy I think and they are both around 7 inches tall right now ....heres was a quick pic I snapped before lights out for them .....I'll post some more over the course of the weekend ... Cheers

Miss felicity smoke (Dp bbk) has surpassed miss Kayla (candy cane ) in height ! Though Kayla is a lot more slim and less bushier than miss smoke both still seem healthy ...here's some pics I snapped yesterday [day 28] but didn't have a chance to post till now .....

Then I started fucking around and said let me check the ph in my medium to make sure everything is cool considering I feel my plants are small and can't notice anything else that could be wrong so whipped out the accurate 8 ....

Both pots seem spot on to me ...any ones opinions or advice appreciated ! Peace

shit ! just walked in the grow room to discover a couple fan leaves on my candy cane (kayla) were curled up !son of a fucking bithc ! my own stupid noob mistake ...pretty sure when I watered her this Friday past , some of the nute solution splashed up on her and I tried to wipe it off with some paper towel and because I was baked I wasn't thinking to maybe wash it off with a bit of water ....dumb ass! so I guess it burnt her a bit hopefully it doesn't stunt her or anything ...would anyone know if it would? ill post a couple pics on a separate post to upload them off my phone to show new growers what not to do ! FML

Well a great smooth grow just got messed up ...apparently I burnt a few fan leaves on my blackberry kush plant too from backsplash ...or I had nute solution on my hands and I shouldn't have been touching the fan leaves before rinsing the ferts off my hands .... Stupid ! Once again hopefully it won't affect their growth ... They seem to be growing at a decent vertical rate still , almost an inch a day !!! Blackberry is at 9 inches now and the candy cane is at 8.5 inches ...here's a pic you can see the few burnt leaves ! Son of a bitch ......
