short smell update
i took the time today to sit in front of my ladies and did a good smelling session.
both think differents smell a lot like violets.
the autoextreme smells tangy spicily, with musk inside.
then my favorite smell, the starryder. took a few nostrils and i thought i knew this smell very good, but it didn't want to come into mind. sweet and fruity... almost like...no, exactly like... strawberries, sugared strawberries. very sweet. top-notch.
this one made my day...

day 65 - there's a lot of water in my mouth...
so, the end is near. the girls are doing great so far. the buds almost stopped growing or continue very very slowly; mainly the pistils get browner and the trichomes more cloudy, but no additional mass anymore. well, it's more than ok, as far as i'm concerned....:cough:

the time has come for the two sativas to be chopped. pistils are all milky and more, no transparent anymore. the buds are glistening and smelling awesome.
due to having just 1l of medium, there wasn't so much to cut off and manicure... thankfully.
so, let me entertain you!
AX - 58cm tall

after reading about the paperbag method i decided to give this a try. due to have no real paperbags handy, like the ones the hobos have their bottle of whiskey wrapped in, i had to take brown paper envelopes. but i think they will do the job; we'll see. checking it once a day.
due to having only one tent and filter, they bags have to be in there with the other plants. the advantage is the bags are good quality, hence light-tight. :check:
the 32oz comp TD will come down tomorrow (because i'm too lazy today) and will be posted in the comp thread.
the StarRyder will go a few more days, at least until the end of the week.
that's it for now. dry weight and vape report will follow, of course. Cool:

the starryder is on a diet for 1 week now; just plain water. she still can draw a lot of energy from the leaves. she is 76 days old and i think i'll let her go for a few more days, but not more than 85.

the starryder has all brown pistils and no new ones are coming. a close look through the magnifying glass revealed 50% amber trichomes, so i decided to chop.
took just a few days for the trichomes to turn color; pretty fast.
anyways, let me introduce you to...
starryder - 53 cm tall
to smell her you have to go really close to the buds.
she's not a stinker; no pungent smell at all. just really sweet.
i love that understatement: maybe she totally stinks up my brain when smoking her. i'll tell you more of that in a few weeks.
