This is my third auto grow with DP's seeds and my first grow with StarRyder. I seem to have two different phenos. One that is a lot taller 24" with thinner leaves suggesting a sativa pheno and the other two are shorter 12" with wider leaves suggesting an indica pheno. The shorter ones are on stands to bring them closer to the height of the taller pheno. That's why they look closer in height in the pictures. My other two grows with DP's autos were a lot more uniform and taller than the two shorties. They are at day 47 +/- 3 days. I forgot to write down the date and had to try and figure it out after about two weeks worth of growth. I guess what I'm asking is if anyone else has also noticed this with this strain because I didn't have this issue with the two other DP's auto strains. I'm using a 2ft-8 bulb T5 fixture with 6 3000k bulbs and 2 6500k bulbs for lighting during flowering and 6 6500k bulbs and 2 3000k bulbs during veg. I keep the light about 2-3 inches from the tops of the plants at all times. I use FFOF soil amended with FF's Jump Start for my medium in 5 gallon roots cloth pots from seed. They are not transplanted, they start and finish in the 5 gallon pots. They are not fed until after about 2-3 weeks of growth or when they show signs of needing fertilizer. As soon as I see pre-flowers, I switch from veg ferts. to bloom ferts and switch my bulbs for flowering. The only thing that I have done differently this grow is to use Technaflora's Recipe For Success instead of Sunleaves Guano Kit, which I used as a tea. The plants have looked and seemed healthy since they were seedlings. Also, my temps have been a little higher (no higher than 82 degrees F) this grow because it is summer here and my other two grows were during fall and winter. They have also required more watering and feeding than my other two grows, I think in part because of the difference in heat and strains. My humidity during veg is about 55-65% and 40-45% during flowering. This is my first post so please bear with me. :D

I'm not sure if I put this in the right forum as I am not a new grower, just new to forums and this website. :D

Hi there bud and Welcome to the AFN :styles rasta:

Now, i cant tell you by own experience about that strain and dif phenotypes. but i know that alot of the strains can come in different types. i just grew 2 sweet tooth autos, and they grew up wery diferently... but they both turned out good tho

anyways, head on over to the intro section when you got the time and make a little "hello" to everyone. alot of great guys over there waiting to welcome you and point you in the right directions :smokebuds: :peace:

Hello to you and thanks for responding. I've been meaning to introduce myself, tried a few times and just wasn't sure what to say. I think I wrote a few things and kept deleting them. LOL! I can be a perfectionist at times. :D I know that even stable strains may have different phenos and the only reason I was really asking is because most of the grow journals/pictures I've seen of StarRyder seem to be a lot more uniform and taller. DP states that height is at an average of about 50 cm and my shorties are about 30 cm and don't seem like they're getting any taller. They're healthy so I'm not really worried, just wondered if anyone else had experienced this. I've also wondered if I should have kept the light a little higher to allow them to stretch a little more during veg. This is only my third auto grow and also only my third grow using T5's, So I am by no means an auto or T5 expert. LOL!

as long as they`re healthy i would be happy bro :High 5:

on my order they told be it would be about 60-70 cm, it grew up to be 130 cm. it all comes down to so much diferent. light, pots, air....now, im no expert, but i`l pass it forward to someone who knows his stuff :smokebuds: :karma Cloud: to you
