Grow Mediums DWC AvT new tent

First grow in new 2x2.5x7' tent.
-Mars FC3000
-(4) 24W T5HO fixtures vertically mounted running 10.0 UV herp tubes (approx. 10% UVB/30% UVA for last 3 weeks of flower)
-AC Infinity T4 and filter
-Hydrobucket w/ dual airpumps (4 silicone glass stones)
-circulation fans
-Inkbird RH controller and humidifier
-MC (1 part) at max 3.5g/G + .5g/G Epsom, fulvic acid, Hydroguard

Just transplanted at Day 6. Popped 8/27. 70% RH and 78F. DLI 18-20 for next 2 days then ramp up to 48 gradually.

It looks like the light is too far from the plant? Also I assume you mean .5g Epsom Salt and not 5g? On the sixth day or 1 day before you change your reservoir I would recommend adding some kelp as well. If you run it too long you may get a bio-film.

As to the light I am getting approx. 650 ppfd at the top of the bucket with the dimmer at 100% which gives me a healthy margin on light intensity (>900 ppfd at 24"). Right now I am at 280 (DLI 18) ramping up to 350 (DLI 23) for a pause and then upward to DLI target of 48. I spent a lot of time working out the height of the fixture balanced against temperature control and ventilation and am comfortable with it as of this red hot moment but will keep an eye on it.

Thanks for the tip on the kelp method - I usually dose kelp in my solution but never considered doing it that way and look forward to trying it.

Day 13

Growth has been solid - roots look good. DLI approx. 37.

She has been developing what looks like a K def - but it also looks like possible beginning stages of interveinal chlorosis (Mg def). It's looking really light green anyway so I bumped up to 550 ppm (3.5g/G + .5g/G es), plus Hydroguard; fulvic acid; kelp.

Once I get this resolved I am gradually increasing DLI to 48. Running 19/5.

Day 16

Earlier def appears to have been corrected. Running 620 ppm/5.9 using CalMag to 70 ppm, 3 g/G MC (1P) , .5g/G ES plus bennies. 77-79 LST at 70% RH. DLI 48 at 19/5.

Also upgraded ventilation to AC Inf. T6 so I have better heat control. The leaves are actually a significantly darker green - apologies for the crappy pic.

Edit: 2 changes made after this picture taken: (1) photoperiod reduced to 18/6 (DLI=47), (2) started foliar application.

Day 17

Topped at 5th node. Waited until previous deficiencies resolved before topping so waited to the 5th. On a side note, and this is purely anecdotal, but the Optic Foliar Overgrow seems to have had a noticeable and positive effect after 1st application, both on this grow and my pots outside.

Day 18

She exploded after topping. Hard to guess but I would say her size (as estimated by leaf surface area) increased 15-20% in 24 hours - maybe more.
