New Grower DWC, Ebb n Flow, Soil...HELP!

Sick setup brotha! But uhh are your seeds in the seedling stage? Cause if they are and you wanna raise them your gonne need to drop the 2700k until flower.. Need a 6500k.. And how many plants ate under that 1,000 watt? Seems a little high

thanks man. overall there will be 13 plants in the tent. I plan on putting 5 in the table and 4 DWC buckets next to it on one side and then have 4 in soil on the other side under the LED. I was told 1000w has an 8x8 footprint and my 180w LED a 4x4. like I said earlier, the seeds cracked and showed taproot so I placed them in the coco plugs in the eco dome under the t12's. I've heard that vegging under LED's does and doesn't work so I'm open to suggestions. everything I read said if you cans afford both mh and hps then just go hps all the way (that's what I was told at the hydro store too). once they show signs of life in the plugs and pop up I planned on transplanting them to their respective grow medium. Should I not do that? I have enough time and money into this already that I really can't bare to see it all go to waste haha someone please help me!

alright so yesterday , 5/2/13, I went out and got 4 6500k T8's and currently have the seeds under them patiently waiting to show signs of life. I will post pics later today. any input is appreciated as well as needed. please by all means feel free to share your knowledge. knowledge is power and this is my first real grow. thanks!

Making a good choice getting those 6500k light! They should pop out of the ground within 1-3 days. Is this your first grow? If so I'm impressed with your knowledge and setup for your grow. But one thing with autoflowers is you should plant them in there forever home as soon as they show taproot. Transplanting stresses autoflowers out. But everything else seems pretty legit.. All I'm using in my grow box is a fan and 8 23 watt cfls and my grow is doing great. You got the setup pretty good.

I'm happy there's at least one person in here who's shown interest and taken the initiative to give me some pointers and answer my questions to the best of their ability! yes this is my first grow. I did my fair share of reading up before I invested time and money I to it. thanks again for diggin the setup. hopefully by this weekend the root has grown into the coco enough that they spring to life even if it's just a little. ill get pics up after later this evening. please stay posted and keep the comments tricks and tips rolling in

sorry ive been slacking but i have been work"s bitch lol. anyways, ive planted 1 bubblelicious and 1 northern lights in dwc buckets and fed them qtr strength nutes. im patiently waiting to transplant the others from the eco dome. i had my 1000w hps light hooked up and had a real problem with temp. the room temp was almost 90 and the water temp being about 80. i invested in a great white air cooled reflector and a 6" inline fan. after setting it up and running it last night i can confidently say the room temp is down to 78 and the water is down to 66. i am beyond ecstatic! im hoping to get the other babies transplanted by this weekend but they have been growing at different rates. i will do my best to get some pics up later today but its just a bitch cause all i have is my phone. i also invested in the hannah combo meter also which gives me spot on readings super fast.

my light schedule is 18/6 and the plants in the ebb n flow table are being fed every 4 hours for 15mins. anyone know or have any suggestions on watering schedules?

sorry i havent updated in a few days. i got real busy around mothers day and was away from a computer. anyways, im starting to notice my leaves curling downwards and some of the leaves are even starting to fold up and over on the edged. theres some yellowish/brown spots on the leaves but all their root mail7.jpgs look healthy. WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO??? im using advanced sensi gro n bloom two part ph perfect nutrients with RO water. the ph in my res was at likmail8.jpge 4.3 last night when i checked it and the ppm was around 810. i qtr'd the reccomended dosage and fed last wednesday. when i talked to customer service mail6.jpgat advanced i was told its probably an uptake problem and i should turn my lights off then use a spray bottle with 1ml/gallon of nutes and foliar feed tmail4.jpghem then wait an hr and tuen the lights back on. the temp in the res stays between 65 and 69 and the room temps between 76 and 80. this is my first hydrmail3.jpgo grow and i'd love any tips tricks or pointers anyone has on how i can fix these bad girls. heres some pics to help ya get a better understanding...

mail2.jpgalso, i bought another 1000w bulb ballast and air cooled hood this past weekend. currently i have an 8in fan on top of my tent drawing air in from a colder room and pulling that over my lights. my problem is that when i power on the second light the heat rises up to around 82+ so ive been only running the one light. do you guys think if i put my 6in fan over my intake duct and forced more cold air through that it would solve the heat problem?

am i overwatering? is it nute burn? a nitrogen deficiency? should i change out the res with plain ph'd RO water and hope that corrects it? please help me

i changed the res with fresh RO water (ph 6.8) last night. the ppm was at 13. after i ran it through a cycle, the ph went down to 4.4 and the ppm was up to 220. seeing as i had already run a low dosage of nutes through my systembefore the res change, do you think this is my reason for increased ppm? also, im assuming the hydroton is a buffer of some sort because the ph went down so much? please correct me if im wrong tho. there is new growth (3rd or 4th set of true leaves) on the babies but its all very small. as of right now its only the first set of leaves on a few plants that have spots and discoloration. could i still salvage them with just the first set being damaged?

i also spoke with a rep for advanced nutrients last night and he said when using the sensi gro and bloom ph perfect nutes, that ppm doesnt matter. i was told if i follow the standard ppm measurements for the age of my plants that i will be underfeeding them. i dont know how true this is but thats what i was told. he also said that there are organic nutrients and that there is no exact way to measure the EC of organics so that could cause the reading to be high. im sure im forgetting more but ill be checking the thread via phone and ill get on the computer when i can and keep updating this but until then PLEASE keep the helpful info coming in
