Grow Mediums DWC Hydro

Water temps should always be below 75. I run RDWC and wouldn't do so without a chiller. Well worth the cost to ensure proper root temps and max oxygenation. If you're using LEDs and running temps below 82 you are not getting maximum transpiration. That will really impact your growth. Air temps in the low 70s with lights on just doesn't cut it. You would be surprised at how much your are losing. Also, I suggest running UC Roots from Cultured Solutions over Hydroguard or any other such product. Far superior in my experience.
Hydroguard never done me wrong. I've read lots of good about uc roots also but more pricey. I'm a dad of 7 kids at 32 years old. I don't have allot of cash to throw on expensive nutrients. I do with what works for me on a budget. I do single buckets and chillers aren't cheap, lol that is not an option. My only option is to control my air temp which keeps my water temps in check also. I flower with 1000 watt hps. Veg with 4 foot 4 bulb t5 ho

I don't like growing 1 strain . I like switching it and mixing it up in my garden. I like growing all different strains so rdwc doesn't work for me either as I might have to feed strain different. I don't mind filling and mixing each bucket though. I like a variety. Don't get sick of the bud that way. Always switch it up.

Ha...agreed...growing a single strain is for sucka's!! Variety is the true spice of life, and a great way to not build tolerance...repped

That's why I still grow autos. I only do photos in my RDWC and always 1 strain at a time. I can grow 6-7 autos at a time and usually it's at least 4-5 different strains. At one point I had over 40 strains in my stash but have cut back to about 20 as some were getting old before I could smoke them all. I never smoke the same strain more than 2 days in a row to keep the tolerance to a minimum.
