Transistos second

Use their “tasty terps” for that…formerly called nirvana.

I’ve found I don’t need additional calmg or ph adjustment with AN products as long as I start with RO water, and don’t add any non-AN products to the mix…. Their b-52 is a good b vitamin…

You will keep repeating past results until you listen to the people with experience, that keep saying this is too high.

I use connoisseur and really like it.
OK, so if two EC is too high what do you recommend? Was it 1.5?

I’ll sit down in a bit and write out my feed schedule. Essentially, I top out at 2ml per liter of connoisseur… plus additives. I don’t find the need to be obsessed with measuring ec… ph falls right where it’s supposed to be, as long as there’s no non-AN products in the mix.

Word to the wise…connoisseur is strong, and WILL burn plants if you push it to far.

Also, and this is my personal grow style… but have you thought about increasing the amount of plants, instead of doing a couple big ones? I fit 8 plants, in one gallon pots in a 2x4 tent…. The goal is two ounces harvest per plant….although I usually get 3+. Do the math, and it’s a great harvest of a variety of strains. Plus, it’s not a big deal if a plant under performs. Just some food for thought….

Let me ask you this…..

What happens to the runoff when you water? Do you remove it? Or do you allow the plant to take it back up? Is there runoff every time?

Thanks…

We’ll get you sorted….don’t get discouraged, it might not seem like it, but these issues are teachers…. Be a good student, learn the foundations of auto growing….and THEN you’ll have the knowledge to start pushing the limits if you want.

You want to be able to read what the plants are doing, based upon looks and a few other factors. That way, you’re making small adjustments in real time, and riding that wave of just enough feed without being too much. You might find that you’re backing feed strength down at certain points, instead of increasing. These plants are alive, and each individual. What works for one, might not for another.

You want to have a synergistic relationship with these plants…..so you understand what they want and when. You’ll get into a rhythm with them…. Instead of pushing them (force feeding essentially), you’ll help them maintain balance by providing an environment they can thrive in. The growing will be less stressful that way, and your plants will reward you for it.

One thing to keep in mind….high nitrogen drives leaf growth, not flower production. And excessive light levels will cause undo stress, causing a decrease in trichome production. The law of diminishing returns is real….

Here you go. @JP1 will be able to tell you how to adjust the beginning for coco (I use promix hp so I don’t have to fuss with buffering and charging coco. I’m a lazy stoner..)

1.5 max in full flower in veg doesn’t need to be that high 1.2-1.4 in veg. Start low when their seeds .5 and work your way up to 1.2-1.4 by week 3 then once flower hits bump up if needed

I gotta go back and find the og thread but for some reason I think he’s in autopots so no runoff

Oh… that’s like…. a whole ass problem unto itself     That’s why when he flushed, he was flushing out an ec of 5 (if I remember right)…. Excessive salt buildup…coupled with over feeding.

Yeah just found his appetizer thread he was using autopots following peacelove2buds that does the same thing which got it from autopotomus on reddit

Yeah you should not flush autopots what your doing is flushing all the salt buildup up in the top layer to the bottom making it ultra concentrated at the bottom. With autopots theydry out the top layer always from bottom feeding which leaves lots of salt buildup up at the top that you don’t wanna flush down

Is there a way to modify the system so you get some runoff?

That sounds like a situation that the plant is just surviving through, but not really ideal lol…
