Indoor DWC LED SCROG log

Nice setup, sub :pop:
Nice thing with fogger. I wish I could install it in my dwc.

Good to have another dwc grower watching along! Thanks for the like bomb! :five: :smokebuds:

Definitely try to look into it! My roots love it! Ever since I added it, they blew up with growth! It's also a 'cool-mist' so it brings the air-temp down in the res a bit while giving the roots a cool shower.

Good stuff Vick. Looks all dialed in nicely:five: Foggin' cool bro :D:smokebuds:

Just got a new HM ph pen to replace the cheap yellow one I had and saw that my old meter was off by .5 ph, so this whole time, I've been in the 6-6.4 range.. What a good investment. This one auto calibrates and gives a temp reading too. Fixed the ph to 5.5 (hopefully that rapid change won't stress them) and saw the res temp at 72f!

Go check out komach's dwc DIY cooling link located in his sig! Looks like a great method to bring your temps down. Going to to put it together tomorrow and will log the temp changes before and after. Hopefully I can keep it in the 60's.

THanks for bringing me here VICK! I got a good read in. Thank you for throwing your numbers on here! Neat Idea to adapt a crane fogger. The actual fogger piece/ disk inside will probably only last a year. Just as a heads up. The floating foggers online have replaceable disks, BUT their screwing pieces can rust up.

I gotta Slap ya for this!
:slap:

Are my old DWC logs on here still? They went missing back a while ago. I'll have to look for them again.

I will let ya know the fog is amazing for the first half to 3/4 of the plants life and then goes next to useless. The roots turn into straws and will drink a gallon or more a day nearly sometimes.
WATCH YOUR SALTS! salt can trigger the plant to stop growing roots immediately because of a hormone... some kind of acid? anyway, it is the same trigger as what drought causes. Salt may have been what happened to your last little ones with their roots? I didn't go into study about your nutes, but just be careful. I do know...seagrow by Grow More is VERY low in salts and they pride themselves in not stopping up dripline or salt being an issue.

I will tell ya, I am currently still in a deep/water type system. I am currently experimenting with aquaponic capabilities. I'll let ya know how 1 plant does later... maybe within a month or so?
Gains from aquaponics: organic and seems to have the buffer that soil gives, delicious products very low salts and need to monitor ppm
Loss from aquaponics: cannot control Nitrogen as some would like, but so far stretch has not been a major issue.

Most anyone will say... aquaponics is a bust for MJ. just not right for it. Didn't a lot say that about LED? hmmmmmmmmm

Lots of great info there gb2, thanks for that, the slap and the atomic like bomb! Good to have ya along as well! Been looking around at fogponics and aeroponics, trying to figure out which would be the best option to take advantage of in my grow conditions, so getting some info from your logs would be awesome. I'll def keep a close eye on that. Anyone who says aeroponics is a bust for mj is an ignorant schmuck that hasn't taken the time to do some studying. There is evidence that roots have thrived bringing massive yields to the table. Same shit with the folks that bashed on led, just like you said.

Anyway, I'm not sure how to follow up on the 'salts'. I just add the nutes to the soup accordingly, making sure to top off when water levels get low. The problem I had earlier in the thread was because I added nutes full strength way too early.. Won't be making that mistake again lol.

As for your old threads, I just google searched fogponics, fogger and autoflower and stumbled on to yours. :smokebuds:

Thanks again for the info and for looking all the way back dude! The more you know..

That gets ya a :slap: right back!
:peace:

Hahaha glad you got your stuff back man. It's a good feeling. I had to dig around for some of my photos after losing them on here not too long ago. Your girl is lookin good! I'll check more of her out on a log if you have her up! I'm guessing she's a photo? :booya:

Thanks for keeping up with the thread ooga! Real stoked to start on that scrog! Really recommend looking into that HM-80 ph pen otherwise, stay on top of your calibrating at least once a month! The electrode on my old pen is going bad but... I have been using it for about a year now, so that's expected.

Stay high guys!
