The battle begins!

First things first. Hope everyone had a badass and safe 420 weekend! I had to work all weekend :/ but it's all good. I celebrated early in the week at a brownie party. First timers introduced to mary via potent brownies makes for an amazing time. lmao :roflcry:

So, after 5 hours of straight sterilizing, scrubbing and that whole cleaning shebang, I added 1 cup of heisenberg bennie tea per gallon after aerating it.

Dipped my netpots in a bowl of h2o2 diluted to 5%. As they were in there, THEY FIZZED! The roots were so mucky, this shit was literally fizzing right off the roots... eventually the roots were bleached pure white and cleaned to the best possible state. This soak lasted an hour, then was followed by a rinse and distilled water was added to the bowl with 1 cup of bennie tea. I let this mixture aerate with all my air lines into the net pots for the whole 5 hours as I sterilized the res. The girls loved it.

Right now, the micro herd of bennies are in the res, as you can see with all of that foam. I ph'd the water to 5.8 but did not add nutes. Gonna let this tea battle go on for at least 2 days. A sponge was added so that the circulating bennies can have something to cling on (read this tip on the heisenberg thread).

New beans, next grow plans

Don't take this as a bragging post or anything.. just updating on all the shit I've been investing in so I can get the best help/advice possible.

Been preparing for my next round and setting up a cab to veg in for a 'somewhat perpetual' log. Gonna have extra pumps and equipment so why not.. Should be a decent head start. The thing is, I can't start vegging until the plant in the 'budding tent' is 2-3 weeks in flower... or else my cab will be overwhelmed with growth.

Anyway, I've got new beans on the way... Here's the list:

Gonna do a 1x bucket dwc grow in my tent after I finish off these 3 girls. Alita 40lpm pumped into a 10" micro pore double XL. Hoping to do a nice tight scrog with this using a 3x2/6 sq ft screen. Hoping to get results like this..

The above image is the same exact size tent like mine with a 3x2' scrog. Sexy right? Those are my exact goals and I'll do everything it takes to get there. Can't do it without everyones help in here!

Which bean should I do first? Can't decide!

Just a logical guess, it could be wrong : res temp 63f, isn't it to low to breed bennies?

It amazes me what DWC and the plants in them can really handle, soo much rescrubbing and sterilizing while the pots and roots are off "fizzing" away being bleached clean and they come out nice and clean and love you better for it! Anything happens and your always fighting back HARD, want to rep slap you for your efforts but need to spread the love some more..

So basically any of the dp's hahah. As a caregiver for a cancer patient, she was more in favor of the description of auto x. Now I really have to give it my all. Can't wait to get her goin.

Gonna save the blueberry for when the cold season comes around again. I want to try and trigger the blue hues and colors with the lower temps in the grow room ;] the bennies can survive chillers and temps down to 50f, manifestation just becomes slower.. but they usually die off after 2 days with nothing to feed on in the res (molasses, yeast, sugars etc) so I'll have to replenish with a lower dose of 1 cup every 3 days after the initial 1 cup per gallon.

Thanks Duggy, I'm convinced with the dp genetics and the smoke reports. The community opened up my eyes to a whole new auto world. It's gonna be awesome.

Think I might do that auto x with a nicely packed scrog screen. Looks like she can definitely overwhelm me with growth!

The res is super foamy with microbes today, attacking at the slime spores on the roots, which have managed to grow back (of course), because there is no possible way to get rid of those spores unless you toss all your equipment and start over. Looks like the bennies have taken over the roots with their brown slime. It's a funky battle. New white root growth has popped out of the net pots and around the older roots, so that's a really good sign. Top growth is still recovering from the h2o2 soak and stressful day, but looking perky and green. Gonna add nutes tomorrow afternoon.
