Indoor DWC LED SCROG log

This will be a team effort. From start to finish, that new log will be ours, not just mine. I just want to help others because I would never wish what has been happening to me upon someone else..

I will be linking the new log on this thread if you wish to follow along. That would mean a lot to me. I could really use the help to start fresh.
Make sure to link us:thumbs:

Damn, well Good vibes and Karma for the Auto X next run with fresh gear! Musta been a weak root.. couldn't handle the Pump action:hump:

But serious sorry to hear, cannot say you did not try your hardest and thread definetly aquired you some priceless info.

If there was enough interest we could do a united grow.
Simple, cheap setup with RO water, same strain and nutrients.
I like the idea of this. It could be like a party cup grow competition except with 15L res's. I would be in for something like this in the future.

That's def a blower, sorry to hear this browski. I'm sure ur next go around will be rewarding you def deserve it after all the hard work and dedication you put into this. The autoflower step by step hydro grow log sounds awesome im down! Good karma blown ur way homie. :smokebuds:
Thanks for the good words and vibes oog. You've been following with dedication. I appreciate it.

If tav's in and you vick, I'm there.
Count me in brother, should be a fun run. We'll have to organize something in a separate log for sure! Since it was Tavi's idea. I think he should do the honors!

It was a lot of factors bringing down this grow :/. Bad ph pen in the beginning, bad pump, root snot. Fucking mess.. But thanks for following along and providing good words plus grow karma. Definitely learned a lot from this thread. Jotting down everything I need to know on pen and paper to cram it in my head.

:face: Hi Vick,... what a lousy time to finally catch up with your grow! Shitfuckpiss,... It seems there's quite a price to pay when learning hydroponics,... makes a no-know like me about this want to just stay with soils! Did I miss it somewhere, or do you know exactly what the slime was?...bacterial, fungal,... the biologist in me is curious.... Anyway, sorry to hear about the rough ride, -no happy ending :joint: However, the new line-up is layered with goodness,.. so Cheers! :buds: to the fresh start Vick! I'll stand by for station identification :smoke::peace:

No worries waira. One day when you feel like cramming a load of information on hydro to cure your woes, read back from the first page. It will be worth it as there are several fuck ups with visual proof to help prevent you from going in that direction. The slime was cyanobacteria.. The dreaded epidemic hitting many many growers reservoirs. This bacteria paired with weak roots and a pump that isn't strong enough, definitely hurt my girls. The h2o2 soak was also too strong on them, having weak roots and all. Onwards to better beginnings. Cheers man!

Have you narrowed down what your problem may have been?

I'll say one thing that may, or may not help you or others.
Ebb and Flow is MUCH more forgiving in the root zone than DWC. More forgiving all around really.
Less drastic aslo in the case of pump failure.

As far as yields, I've been KILLING it in Ebb and Flow with SIMPLE nutrients running low PPM's.
(5 pounds dry from a 4x8 tent in 90 days)
Currently using only FloraNova Bloom all the way from Veg to Flower, and Liquid koolbloom during flower.
That's IT. FN Bloom all the way through, and Liquid Koolbloom in flower.
KILLING IT.

If you want to put together a Step By Step, I'll be glad to help.

My main, and most crucial problem was using a 25lpm airpump in 60+L's of water as brought to my attention by vira and kush t. Totally insufficient and it caused a mess of root problems. High res temps here and there also played a factor in slowing down growth. Superthrive added slime to my res. h2o2 + hygrozyme added slime to the res as well. The slime LOVES to feed on zyme so it also thrived heavily in it. The slime choked the roots and ate at away at them slowly :/ The heisenberg tea was not strong enough to fight them off unfortunately. Nothing was.

The new grow will have new hydroton properly rinsed, cleaned and soaked. New bucket, new net pot, new black airline and the new 10" airstone plus the new 40lpm pump, pumping into 15L of water. Basically everything new.

I will be doing the lucas formula with FloraDuo A+B, pro tekt silicon additive and cali magic when I need it. When roots hit the res, I will add a low dose of the heisenberg tea (4cups/5gal, 1 cup will be fed through net pot at root crown) for benefical microbes to promote root vigor and to prevent scum/pathogens. How is that idea?

Also thanks for the help. Definitely going to need it. I will browse your logs.

Sorry to hear that you will stop this grow :(. heisenberg tea : don't use any extra microbe if you don't need it. Hygrozym and all of his sorts do there job (but me personally didn't noticed any changes). Rootstim and hygrozym can be dropped from the nutrients line without any issues (you still can use it the whole grow cycle, but the decision should be done by you). DWC + chimie = no probs (FloraDuo A+B, pro tekt silicon additive and cali magic)

looking forward to your next run dude!
let us know, when & where u start it

Cheers,
