Sorry to hear that you will stop this grow . heisenberg tea : don't use any extra microbe if you don't need it. Hygrozym and all of his sorts do there job (but me personally didn't noticed any changes). Rootstim and hygrozym can be dropped from the nutrients line without any issues (you still can use it the whole grow cycle, but the decision should be done by you). DWC + chimie = no probs (FloraDuo A+B, pro tekt silicon additive and cali magic)

It's cool, I'd rather do a stress free, problem free/less problematic grow anyway. This one was hurt from the beginning. Definitely not using hygrozyme as I'm on my last bits and it's pricey.. I won't overdo it on the microbes. Just a maintenance dose every week but only when the roots are well established to handle it. After reading many logs, the tea acts like a root-stim with all of the microbial activity feeding the roots better than they would normally feed themselves. A low ppm solution will have to be used for this to work right, according to heisenberg himself.

FloraDuo Part A & B

General Hydroponics makes a 2-part system called FloraDuo 2 Part Nutrient System. It consists of FloraDuo Part A FloraDuo Part B. These two products are to be used as a base and adjusted according to phase of growth. It’s a direct 3-1 or 1-3 ratio. If you are blooming use 5mL Part A and 15 mL of Part B. If you are vegging use 15 mL of Part A and 5 mL of Part B. Always read feeding instructions on the bottle for correct usage and variations. GH may have perfected the Lucas Formula… We’ve been testing with positive results. First we saw vegetative growth increases based on the nitrogen boost.

Grow: Soil/Hydro
Add 15ml of FloraDuo Part A to 1 gallon of RO water, Mix
Add 5ml of FloraDuo Part B to 1 gallon of RO water, Mix
Done

Bloom: Soil/Hydro
Add 5ml of FloraDuo Part A to 1 gallon of RO water, Mix
Add 15ml of FloraDuo Part B to 1 gallon of RO water, Mix

I'll have to start the formula at 1/4 strength on the appropriate day. I do not have RO water but my tap is 90-130ppm. <0.3ec

All I've ever used except for my current setup has been Flora Duo. (currently testing out FloraNova Bloom)
It works great.
The ratios will be different for everyone. I've tried 1:3-1:2.
The stuff is a great nutrient, and Highly underrated.

Two things I can say about FloraDuo.
1. Use a CalMag suppliment. It needs it.
2. Add Liquid Koolbloom during bloom and you'll at LEAST double your yield. Adding the LKB took me to the next level.

Good luck with it. You can DEFINITELY knock it out of the park using just FloraDuo, LKB and a CalMag suppliment.

Oh yeah, not only does it work great and most of it's micro's are chelated so they can be absorbed at FAR wider ph range, It's also VERY inexpensinve.
Chelated nutrients, and Cost effective don't really go together from what I've seen in other nutrient lines.

Thanks for that bit of info tavi, good to know there's someone with floraduo experience on here. Currently doing research on DP grows. I'll keep ya updated on the dwc tutorial when I have all the details down. :buds:

Just to report on some good news other growers may benefit from; Any slime or pathogens left over on the roots, netpots or anywhere else in the res, have disappeared with the addition of the strong air pump. The roots are spotless and looking as they should but they are far from recovering due to the amount of root loss. Still gonna leave them to see what happens by the time the new beans get here. The amount of oxygen really does play a major role in the res and any standing water is a risk for scum. Bubbles are just not enough.

You see dog... Forget your BENNIES dude.. Run a sterile root zone like I did.. Seymour.. Insert.. Ko & Vira is at the minute.. Your just gonna making things more complicated.. All you need is plenty of air.. Which you now have bro..

Now if you start a new run.. We're all here to give you advice.. That 40L pump in a 20L bucket will grow you a fucking monster dude.. Make sure a day or two before you start.. Pre soak your hydroton pebbles in bucket of pH water 5.5pH.. Now you'll see the pH rise after a few hrs.. Keep dropping it down.. & replace the water a few times keeping it at 5.5 until the hydroton pebbles are 5.5pH..

Use your other smaller pump to always have your reserve tapwater bubbling.. Always.. Every time you use it replace it..

I dunno if a scrog will work too well with DWC Vick mate.. Your always in & put of your bucket until your dialled in.. Then when you are dialled in your plant will be eating & drinking about 3L a day.. a big girl takes a lot of love.. So everyday you'll be replacing feed & water..

Auto X & StarRyder are sativa dominant strains & are gonna facking stretch BIGTIME on ya.. Loadsa fun in DWC
