Anyway... Here's my plan
Clean hydroton and soak/aerate for 2 days with rapidrooter in 5.5ph buffered RO water, calmag to 50ppm.
Soak Auto X seed in a shot glass with the same water.
Once the sprout is ready for the netpot, It'll go on top of an inch of hydroton with the same water as above + flora duo A + B used in a lucas formula (5mlA, 10mlB cut down to 1/4 strength) As tav has mentioned and I have realized after research that autos will do much better when started with bloom nutes and high P. When I ran the flora micro bloom formula my first time, I had growth going so well, the plants looked like they were on steroids... After comparing the two nutes with their NPK ratios, it shows that they are VERY similar, only the duo line has been improved and chelated better, claiming to be 'ph perfect' and the solution goes into the res CRYSTAL CLEAR, looking as if nothing was added to the res.
This is also quoted from Nirvana seeds:
"Auto-flowerers need a light hand with fertilizers, and no nutes that are intended for vegetative growth – use a high P fertilizer instead. Auto-flowering varieties are perfect for guerilla growing."
The original lucas formula is
Flora micro 5-0-1
Flora Bloom 0-5-4
The Flora Duo line is
Flora duo A 5-0-6
Flora duo B 1-5-4
Not too far off right? I will be taking the original lucas formula and applying it to the duo @ 1/4 strength. I might move 1ml of that formula from the A and apply it to the B as not too much nitrogen is needed at the start, but more so in the 2nd week (mature vegging)
Now that I have my hands on proper assistance, great grow friends and the right equipment, I'm ready to rock it with this grow. Reading into NPK has truly opened me up to a whole new world of growing. Makes SO much more sense to me now..
On the side of this grow, I will have a royal queen royal cheese (was a freebie) growing in an 8.4L/2.2gal airpot with 80/20 coco/perlite cleaned and buffered with calmag. This one will be for fun as I will be testing organic nutes (leftover botanicare pbp bloom) with compost tea microherds. If it turns out I have space to scrog two plants... nbd, but if not, I know someone who will adopt her as an addition to her garden. She's also a lesbian

(heard you like girls so I got you a fine girl plant, girl... insert xzhibit meme here...) haaaaa anyway..
More details will be on the new log. It's gonna be a fun week. Beans come in later today and as soon as the soak starts, the new log will be right up. I'll keep ya'll posted. Enjoy your Monday!
