That works but you need to add your PG/VG before all the alcohol is evaporated, then finish evaporation. I've done that with making oil to see if I could get a stronger oil.
Been vaping non THC oil for over 2 years and had 2 runs of THC oil 10ml in the last 3 month . Made very similar to the vid in the OP but I leave mine on heat for 6 hours . I use a 60/40 PG/VG ratio as 70/30 gives me heartburn . It's was mentioned in a earlier post about clogging the atty up with high vg levels .I use a old Kanger mini protank to vape my THC oil , I use a low ohm's head as close to 1 ohm as I can get as my itaste mvp will not fire anything under 1ohm . I also use a rda in the house to vape the thc oil with a manual battery which is great as you can build your coil to what ever ohm you like .
I found to get a decent vape from any oil THC or Nic oil you need a good device . The kanger tank range is great for someone who likes diy as you can rebuild the coils yourself . You also want a good battery with at least variable voltage as it makes so much difference , if your on a budget just get yourself a ego 600mah or 900mah twist or spinner . All in you can get a better vape then those cheap plastic made in china junk for under £25 if you shop around .
Next year when I start growing again I intend to try make some bubble hash or dry sift to use with the oil as you will be starting with a purer concentrate .

I made a 3g batch last night and it definitely gets me high.. I would say its about half as potent compared to hitting a Joint or pipe.
I used a 30/70 mix of pg/vg but think ill go 40/60 next time.
Not much of a throat hit or flavor and more pg will help with that.

Started mine with just the VG, did the second cook today. My PG is on a muletrain going the wrong way...............grrrrrrrrrrr a week to come from Ohio and still not here! . I'll do the last cook then cook some bud in PG then blend the two. Curious to see if it works well enough for me. Or maybe I need to start considering making wax and say screw this stuff...lol!
I'm tagging along on this one for sure. . I've been researching and chatting with someone that's very good with tinctures and products. Thanks evol for starting this up!
Just got a chance to watch the vid evol posted. . was this the ratio you used evol? 4 grams material for a small personal run.. You mentioned it got you high. . But not very much. . Thinking more grams per personal run. . Like double the material amount? .. or maybe using a hash.. or keif? Looking into doing a bubble hash run.. First time trying that. . Usually I do iso.. so I was going to dedicate the hash to this ..

Yes I posted a link about vape pens and PG/VG. I'm going to give my juice a second cook with more bud. It works, I can get a buzz takes 8-10 puffs I'd say. but I've been puffing all day so yep, it works that way lol!

Re-cooking my juice tonight. Added about another ml of PG. Chopped some bud and added some trim I'd been using for joints ( I like my weed dryer for joints ). Added about 4 grams of bud and trim. I chopped the bud on a cutting board with a knife, to get the pieces small without so many fines as grinding gives. Going to get one of those kitchen choppers to use. Doing a 2 hour cook at 190F. Going to decarb after the cook in the oven at 250F for 20 minutes. We'll see if this gives it a little more kick.
