DIY E-Vape THC fluid

Y'all seen these super expensive overpriced CBD vape juice? I just have to wonder sometimes.... Marketing? Highway robbery? Both methinks.

I bought a power pen to vape qwiso but they have a wickless e juice tip I have thought about trying if I can figure out the canna ejuice

well, it doesn't state which type battery it is threaded for. 510 batteries threads are preferable. And to get enough vapor, your going to need a battery that will put out at least 5 volts. I'd look for one with specs in the neighborhood of 1600mah and / or variable wattage. The low end batteries don't do it.

If you look around, any pure CBD oil is expensive, but the they have to do fractional distilling or something of that nature to get just the CBD. However, it seems to me after all I've read, straight CBD isn't as effective as when it also has a THC component. Politics are pushing the CBD only thing, because, God forbid we get a buzz while getting well...........only pharma drugs are allowed to do that......

I've seen the light...lol! a good tank is a key part in this. there are some very good clones of these custom tanks out there also. $200 for a tank and battery I can't do, $60-80 I can, and with clone mods, thats within the budget
So its all about a decent vape pen. . I heard low ohms is key.. Maybe I read it in here. Lol

Here's the battery Mod I'm getting:

Will wait to post on the tank, its got a lot of" Cool" factor...lol....
That looks awesome. . I visited the local store. . Found an 850 with voltage that goes up to 5.0. About 50 bucks. Nothing in the 1600 range. Also found a local source for VG.. so ill be picking that up and will be doing the cook down process. . Might add that sonic cleaner thing too.. Every 20 mins give it a shake in that sonic thing for about a min? Also. . Thinking of using up 2 1gal zip lock bags full of sugar leaves (trim) and bottom airy buds, I actually have three bags. . I'm just not sure on the ratios. That to vg?.. suggestions?

Edit.. reread earlier posts.. I still need straight PG due to it being a "better" solvent. .

I'm looking forward to seeing your results! that 850mh battery should be just fine. I'm convinced that the secret is in re-cooking the juice several times. Next time I can make some, I'm going to skip the decarb process because I believe that it will decarb fine after multiple 180-200F cooks. In fact, it may turn out even better. won't know till I or someone tests the idea.

Every time you recooked.. You added more bud material right? And you let it cool down between..Your cook times were 20 mind each. . I'm going to be trying it your way. . [emoji41] the only change is I'm going to put it in the sonic thing for the cool down period. . You think cool I've water in the sonic unit would be a good thing? I don't think it will crack the mason jar. . It is made for canning.

Hey guys....

is there room for another cannajuice guinea pig in here?? "Stirring"

I've been wanting to do this for a long time, and i've got a little spare bud (nlxbb auto) so i've been reading up.

The way i see it, there are 3 ways to extract the thc into the PG/VG

Cold Extraction:
a) decarb
b) mix with PG or VG solution
c) agitate (shake, vibrate, stir, etc) daily for 60 days
d) strain

Heat Extraction:
a) decarb
b) mix with PG or VG solution
c) simmer in a crock pot or put the jar (with the cap on) in a pot full of hot water, for 12-16 hours
d) strain

Alcohol as solvent
a) decarb
b) mix with high proof grain alcohol
c) strain
d) mix with PG or VG Solution
e) boil the alcohol out of the PG/VG

some thoughts on this....

the common denominator is decarbing the bud... so i would think getting this right is probably the most important factor in making a potent cannajuice.

the second most important factor is the amount of bud we place into our solution.
A pack-a-day smoker trying to quit usually vapes about 2-3 ml a day. so we can assume that 2.5ml of juice is about a pack of cigarettes worth of toking. Molegrower mentioned 6 grams in 25 ml, which would be like saying 6 grams of weed sprinkled in 10 packs of cigarettes, or otherwise 0.03grams per cigarette. You'd have to smoke a half a pack of cigarettes (0,3g of bud) to get high. Likewise, you would have to vape a 1,5ml tank to get a decent high.

finally, i read that it takes time for the PG or VG to absorb the thc and terpenes, so using alcohol ensures that we get the most thc in the least amount of time.

I'm not sure which one to try yet... but i think i'll end up trying all three, and posting my results on here
