Someone said it could be bad, is there anything i could do to test it? Like if i put 1ml of nutes into water and take a reading which the would make it 0.5?

If you have calibration fluid, and its reading within specs for that, you are likely fine. If its way off, and you can't bring it back into spec, yeah, its probably toast. EC meters aren't near as sensitive as pH meters in the [probe department, so there's that.
If Canna states that 1ml equals 0.5 EC, then sure, give it a test. At least you know the calibration fluid is dead on, so that is a known factor to work with.

Hi waximus
All my water is ph'd with ph down & up but because ive only afew plants i put my water into 2&3ltr pop bottles" i let the water sit in them untill my plants need it, it only takes afew drops to get my ph from 7.5 to 6.3-6.5 .

With this i didnt mean 1ml of canna give an ec reading of 0.5" i was thinking about if anyone would know if you add this much nute would give you a reading of whatever on the ec to check if my ec meter was ok lol

Hi everyone,
After days of testing different water samples my waters ec is 0.1 (my meter must be ok because whenever i calabrate it it gos to 2.8 no probs so thats fine) im in need of how much calmag i should be adding?

Plus with nutes and calmag can they be mixed together or is it best to mix each one and do it like that?
