If you have calibration fluid, and its reading within specs for that, you are likely fine. If its way off, and you can't bring it back into spec, yeah, its probably toast. EC meters aren't near as sensitive as pH meters in the [probe department, so there's that.Someone said it could be bad, is there anything i could do to test it? Like if i put 1ml of nutes into water and take a reading which the would make it 0.5?
If Canna states that 1ml equals 0.5 EC, then sure, give it a test. At least you know the calibration fluid is dead on, so that is a known factor to work with.
