I can respect that. Maybe there's a cult/underground following somewhere in London but that's just wishful thinking. I don't want to show up and be completely alienated, though I do appreciate a foreign perspective on the subject of edm. Errybody's got their favorites. That dutch house music was a little trappy though albeit mono symphonic (in a good way). And 'turn down for what' is like one of the best known dubstep/trap songs here... mention it to an american fan of edm and they'll immediately relate, if not start singing it in public.
I come from an extremely hardcore post punk background though, so my taste in music is going to be a little abrasive at times. Like a synthetic diamond cutting wheel trying to play a flying V guitar fed through overdriven amplifiers. Yep.
