Live Stoner Chat EDM and such.

I can respect that. Maybe there's a cult/underground following somewhere in London but that's just wishful thinking. I don't want to show up and be completely alienated, though I do appreciate a foreign perspective on the subject of edm. Errybody's got their favorites. That dutch house music was a little trappy though albeit mono symphonic (in a good way). And 'turn down for what' is like one of the best known dubstep/trap songs here... mention it to an american fan of edm and they'll immediately relate, if not start singing it in public.

I come from an extremely hardcore post punk background though, so my taste in music is going to be a little abrasive at times. Like a synthetic diamond cutting wheel trying to play a flying V guitar fed through overdriven amplifiers. Yep.

Ye there probably is still a few clubs that have dubstep nights but they're few and far between. That Dutch house music is actually a genre called 'gabba' it's been around since the early 90's and it sounds a little trappy because trap music has taken influences from different genres, a few of them are gabba, hardstyle, hip hop, dubstep etc and made a new genre.

Gotta be brutal.

This is another dubstep tutorial from Dubba Jonny.

It's not so much a 'how to' as it is a shining example of how much heavier his sound is than anyone else.
