Indoor Effectiveness using CO2

I think the thing to consider is the cost/benefit ratio. for most, its just not worth it. Maximum PAR is a better investment IMO. Although LUX is not a great wat to measure, it suffices in that the maximum absorbtion level, neasured in LUX is about50,000, more than that is overkill. So, max your lighting, build the best soil mix you can, and/or learn what works best for DWC, and you'll grow killer weed every time!

in my organic grows I actually got two full grows out of my bags.and if I get four new fresh ones with back to back grows for a larger tent.it really seems to pay off.Ive seen little to sway me from the interaction of CO2 in organics vs. Chems.the CO2 really seems to shine when enriched.truly without a doubt if you saw the lushness of the gas smash,it would make a believer outta most.but its about size of area and amount of the CO2 used and exchanged with a mellow yet constant flow over your leaves at various points.has always done me right.

But I do totally agree if your doing just a cpl three palnts in a tent,ya really dont need it unless its a truly closed system imo. but I grow always no less than 6-10 at any given time as a rule.and it really helps maintain a level of health not easily attainable with other means cuz Ive tried LOL!

Here is the best article in CO2 in the growroom I've found, lots of good info!

Thanks for the link. This is one of the most informative articles that I've read on co2 and I've tried to read a lot on it. It's the first that actually explained why I was wasting my cash on the aquarium cartridges that I've been using.

I've seen the effects on my plants that just breathing into my cab during maintenance brings. They have perked right up in front of my eyes and its impressive to see such quick reactions. It gives the impression that any co2 added is beneficial. But, as its impossible to completely seal the cab, exhausting it as fast as I was adding it was just a waste overall adding very little, if any, benefit.

I stopped adding it midway through my last run only because my local supplier ran out and his next shipment was cartridges with half the volume that they tried to sell at the same price. I wouldn't play.

The 1500 ppm does seem to contradict some things I have read about absorption and the maximum beneficial amount tolerable. I've read some heated arguments about it with none ending conclusively. Its a moot point to me because my configuration would never even reach the 1200 ppm.
