This is our second think different... we have recently changed our bucket system and nutrients. Went form GH Nutrients and GH buckets and switched to

black 5 gallon bucket with net
Fox Farm Nuts

we are seeing problems in both plants. The blue auto mazar is still looking very healthy but I'm afraid whatever is going on with the lower leaves is going to take over the entire plant... Please help check out the pictures and let me know what you think!

Think different is on week 8 and Blue Mazar is on week 3

Looks abit like what is just starting on my Think Different i got told it was a magnesium def, Sooo either start using cal/mag or epsom salts and molasses in every feed untill u see it improve.
but im not 100% sure i would wait untill someone more (No How) with defs comes along which on here doesnt take long

Before we can make a diagnosis we'll need more information.

Temp and humidity levels in your room
Temp of your water in the buckets
pH of the solution in your buckets
Type of water used, tap, RO?
Strength of nute solution

temp fluctuates between 70-86 with humidity levels usually between 15 and 20 but sometimes gettin in the low 30's during the day depending on weather and 50 to about 68 at night
temperature in buckets fluctuates from 60-70
we try to keep the ph as stable as possible and is usually between 5.6 and 6.2 but we'll catch it sometimes in the high 6's.
We use RO water, topping off the res whenever needed adn the strength of the nutes is a little less than what they recommend, we have a 3.5 gal res and we give it nutes as if it was a 3 gallon res.

hope this helps muddy, thanks a lot man! and you too abc123, much appreciated!

Are you adding cal-mag to your R.O water before you mix your nutrients? I personally don't use R.O water but read that it lacks in cal-mag.

If you're not adding some cal/mag solution to your RO that's probably the issue. RO water usually has less than 5 ppm, often 0. I would suggest you add enough cal/mag to your RO to bring it up to between 100 - 120 ppm before adding your nutrients. This will also help to keep your pH more stable. You can also try adding 20% tap water to your RO, but the cal/mag would be preferable.

I would also suggest you get your temps and humidity more stable. From your pictures I assume you are using HPS lighting? If so, you want your day time temps to be between about 78 - 80 degrees with no more than a 10 degree drop at night. You also need to get your humidity up higher. Aim for 60% during veg, then 45% in flower. Maintaining the proper temp and humidity lets the plants to transpire properly, allowing for good nutrient uptake. 60 is a bit low on your res temp. Ideally you want it between 65 - 70. Raising your night time temps should take care of that. Your pH range looks good at 5.8 - 6.2. Generally 6.2 is recommended in veg, 5.8 in flower, but cycling through that range is beneficial, and will allow all the nutrients to be utilized by the plant.
