New Grower Eng. Growers next endulgence

It was day 70 that the Blue Monkey was topped. Her top is fine. Not doing what I thought. I took the first real leaves and stems off and then counted 5 nodes and took off the 6th one. I don't see any hesitation in growth. The nodes seem to be about 2 1/2 to 3 inches apart. She is listed as being "tall" . Yes, first time I have topped any. I didn't worry too much because I have several coming right behind her.

What day did you top yours @Samwell ?

The Wipe Out Express, the second one shown in pics above, has about a 3/4 inch gap between nodes. I may not top her. Will wait and see how she looks in a few more weeks.

My Cheese popped today! :goauto:

Natural light photos of everyone. :smoking:

The tallest, Blue Monkey is chugging right along after her topping.

The second in sucsession, HeavyWeight Wipe Out Express is definitely going to be a bushy gurl!:gary:

Cleaned out my tent. Nice and fresh ready to go.:jump:

I topped on day like 15 or 16 I think. She's looking awesome now

Wow, @Samwell . Just 2 weeks? My plants are never hardly beyond the first seed leaves. Wonder if that is because of the strains or something else. What is the secret?

Your Gurls are looking great, Dude! :goauto:

I honestly don't do much to be honest. Using MegaCrop for my base nutrient, just trying to follow along growing guides I've read and it's been pretty simple. Water every 1-2 days, very small waterings daily in the beginning.

Yes. Those are sprout dates.

Unbelievable, the difference, huh??

My mix on these is s seed starting mix from Fertilome mixed with coco, perlite and composted chicken manure. I use cal/mag to precharge the soil mix. Then I will use Overdrive from here on out. Want to purchase some mycorhizome fertilizer next time out at garden center. Also will invest in a worm bin for creating my own worm castings this coming year.

My temps still havnt evened out yet. Still having some cool nights. My temps in my tent are fluctuating between upper 60s on cool days to low 80s on warm days. I believe these cool temps are keeping my plants thin and a little tall. But, the first plant is definitely a tall one because of the distance between nodes as compared to the second gurl that is going to be a lot shorter and bushier!

I am expecting pre looms this week on the Blue Monkey, the first of these to germinate.

I am noticing the growth not being as aggressive as my plants were that I grew last fall. Last fall my plants seemed to grow 2" a day. Now they grow maybe 1" a day. Could be because of temps. I am expecting growth to excellereate this week as we really warm up in the next few days!

@Samwell , please critique my grow. What do you think? How does the placement of my branches look on the Blue Monkey? Spaced enough?
