Autos amber IME, trichs get a dull luster as they get cloudy, She will start to smell different too. All signs to look for but best is still a scope. BTW, you can always “test” a bud. It may be green,uncured,but it will give you an idea of how close.

So if i check the trichs and they are mostly cloudy/little to no amber(what id really prefer) its fine to still have plenty white hairs than?

I would hold out as long as you can before the land man has to come in. There is still alot of white pistils. If you got another week ,give it to them. Those are some big buds buddy.

I go with trich maturity personally. I never go by pistils. I prefer to harvest at about 30 percent amber so my plants usual have little to no white pistils at that stage. Dry and sample a small bud!

Yeah, i can definatley wait till next Fri, thatll give me 3-4 days to prep my place. Im so excited with my first autos. They blew me away.

Congratulation on your first of many, hopefully, auto grows. Very nice plant. You will love Ripleys and might want to consider Alien v Triangle too.

Yeah there will be many more. Still have 74 Meph seeds. 15 strains total(so far XD)

FYI - I was not that impressed with my Ripley's at first, but it seemed to improve considerably after 2 months in the jar (burped daily the first month). Now a great smoke.

I just took them down at 82 days yesterday cause they started showing amber. Gonna dry for 5-7 days hanging in the dark tent than trim and let stay till about 10 days. Than theyll go into paper bags cause i find it simpler than jars. Ill post pics when i trim.

Not really sure but most leaves were yellow. Kinda felt like it happend overnight. I checked them yesterday and saw ambers which i didn't really see any when i checked Sunday. I didn't even look Monday cause i figured shed probably go till Friday. Sure enough though i checked 3 different buds and saw ambers so figured it was time.
