I'm thinking of trying an experiment with photos. Have some Lumpy Space Princess from Solfire Gardens I cud test it on. Trying to finish a photo in the same time as an auto. Maybe a 2 to 3 week veg at 18/6 then flip to 12/12. I wonder how big I could get photo plants with autoflower growing times (10 to 12 weeks) and wonder if yield would be comparable to an auto or less or better. You cud do 12/12 from seed but I think a good 2 to 3 week veg wud be better for a comparable plant.

No, seeds not planted yet. Just stoned last night thinking deep into shit. Lol I got lung surgery October 28th I just found out recently so I'm not sure what were planting next or when were planting more yet. I have a grow partner investing with me which is my roommate. But hes new to caring for plants so he will be taking over the work part of the garden for a couple months once I'm laid up from my surgery. I'm waiting for a variety of autos in the mail too so not sure what I'm gonna pop next quite yet. I do want to experiment with photos a little on an auto time frame down the road.

Good luck on your surgery! I have one later this week. I found a local shop doing a free cloning class a few weeks after my surgery and hoping to be moving around enough to make it. I totally get trying to find something to keep the mind busy.

Thanks man. I hope your surgery goes good too. Best of luck! And that's cool about the classes. I just dip my cuttings in clonex and plant em straight in the soil. I've used cloner buckets too in the past but its easier straight in the soil I feel. Right now I'm just doing autos so no need to clone. The only cloning I'll do on an auto is to use a small clone in a Dixie cup to reverse the female to make pollen. That way you sacrifice 1 branch only and not a whole plant since you shouldnt smoke a reversed plant. Then discard the small reversed clone once you got the pollen. I prefer autos cuz I dislike smoking the same strains over and over. So I probably wouldnt clone photoperiod plants because I dont want to keep growing the same strain and smoking the same stuff. I like to switch it up and have varieties and try new strains. I wish there was a purple urkle auto. Man thatd be awesome. Same with dj shorts blueberry. I wish that was in auto form too. Yummmmm! My mouths watering thinking about both those strains.
