Question:
I have lights on 18/6 with lights on 6am off 12am. With warmer temps, I need them off during day something like on 7 pm off 1 pm. Can I make the transition all at once? So they’ll have an extra 7 off (13 off) at one time and then back to 18/6. Or do I need to gradually convert it? Thanks in advance.

One day of longer darkness in vegetative cycle wont change anything...go for it.

I have heard several people say that you shouldn't grow plants on 24 hours before planting them outdoors....but for decades I have done exactly that, and my plants tend to be a pretty good size.

Anytime i switch lights its 24hr straight then switch to new time.

If you are running autos, it makes no difference. Autos don't depend on light times. If you want to be super nice to your plants, to not add any sort of potential stress, you can do it gradually. But either way is fine. I do it in one night.
