Not sure if that would be covered or not, you'll probably need to contact them and ask.

Of the 8 I've bought for friends I've only seen one person have problems. He didn't bother to read the instructions. I told him to set it at about 400 F and adjust the setting up or down from there. His bowl broke, just shattered. You could tell just by looking at it that he had overheated it. When I asked what temp setting he used he told me he couldn't get it up to 400, so set it at the max setting of 260. He never changed it to F and had it set to 260 C. No wonder it fried the bowl.

just broke the heating element cover while cleaning.
cyclone bowl was fused to it and a small twist and it went crunch.
anyone know if this is covered by warranty?

to be honest,my EQ functioned basically as a bud dryer, generally under 160c to dry out tester buds.
only used heavily in december when we had visitors

just waiting for my extreme q to arrive. I'll be sure to check the temp setup before running its sterilise cycle now :)

does anyone know of a valved mouthpiece for the bag , similar to the volcano btw? Or has anyone improvised a valve or stopper yet ?

Havent really bothered DK,
once the first pull on the bag air pressure keeps the vapour in the bag, unless u bump it or similar.
I have seen a link somewhere on using a camelback(water res backpacks for cyclists etc...) mouthpiece

Not sure if I have mentioned this, but please do not allow the cyclone bowl to cool on the heater element,EVER,it expands and never comes loose,in trying I broke it completely.
new part is available for order so I assume this is a common problem.

Also.if u ever send it in for repair...remove the bottom first and clean it out,i gathered at least .5g of crushed, unvaped goodness from the bottom of my vape when replacing the heater element cover last night, sadly made useless by broken glass bits.

BUT WHAT A REVELATION,one bong made 4 bags and one grilled McB

LOL, I have one that works very well, my thumb! Actually, I don't use the bags, only the whip. To me the bags impart a taste that I don't like. Even my Mrs. who was keen on the bags at first, finds the taste objectionable. Perhaps that wouldn't be the case with different bags, but we find that with the ones that came with it.

I let mine cool down on the element every day and haven't found it to be a problem. Once or twice when it did stick a bit, I found it just needed to be cleaned. Perhaps you're running your temp a bit too high? That's what happened with my friend. The high temp he was running made the glass brittle and when he tried to remove it, it shattered.

In the early days I may have checked min max temps, goog point muddy.
now is stick to 180-220C for bags 1-3,seldom do a 4th,even tho green still shines thru

When i smoke a lot of hash in my EQ the bowl can get stuck if i forget to remove it after im done. The i just heat it up again on low heat and wiggle it around and it always let go after a few sec.

interesting stuff, I guesse I will have to try the bags and see how it goes. I think whip will be OK for me also, im not that fussy really but its nice to have the bag option.
thumb it is for now :)

thanks for the pointer on the bowl cooling and getting stuck, nice to know these things. Sounds like best off cooling it off the machine and if it does ever get stuck, warm it up some before trying to remove.
