Of the 8 I've bought for friends I've only seen one person have problems. He didn't bother to read the instructions. I told him to set it at about 400 F and adjust the setting up or down from there. His bowl broke, just shattered. You could tell just by looking at it that he had overheated it. When I asked what temp setting he used he told me he couldn't get it up to 400, so set it at the max setting of 260. He never changed it to F and had it set to 260 C. No wonder it fried the bowl.

just broke the heating element cover while cleaning.
cyclone bowl was fused to it and a small twist and it went crunch.
anyone know if this is covered by warranty?
