Hi guys! I have a question regarding fabric pots and outdoor greenhouse growing.
I want to start my plants indoors in my grow box for 3 weeks to a month.
However, it's not very spacious and I want to fit 5 pots.

In my previous outdoor grows I was getting 2oz max. So keep that in mind. I'm still very much a beginner and will be happy with anything over 3oz/plant.
Now I'm following Tang's Easy feeding schedule indoors and plan on using it outdoors as well (it's going great indoors).
I wasn't even feeding in the years before, taste was awesome but no yields.

Are there any caveats to feeding/watering in fabric pots outdoors?
Is there a big difference between 3 and 5 gal?
And lastly, this is gonna be my spring grow so I have something good to smoke during the summer. So these probably won't be monster plants (harvest in June, Czech Republic).
Mainly I'm gonna grow White Widow XXL from Dinafem (big fan) plus some fastbuds zkittlez, lemon AK and GHS King's Kush I got almost for free.
Also, advice on great strains for greenhouse/polytunnel will be appreciated.

Thank you all in advance for your advice. I love AFN!

Oh and I know.. greenhouse seeds are not very good. I don't even know why I gave them a chance.
I have a feeling that if I had grown a Dinafem or DP it would be much better.
It doesn't look bad and smells good, but even my outdoor autos had way more trichome production.

I started out using 3 gal but the plant got to be root bound too early so I switched over to 5 gal. The plants are growing larger and to their full lifecycle.

Fabric pots are the way to go, it lets the roots get the required oxygen. I live in Florida so we have warm to hot seasons to grow in. I water ever other day and my soil has vermiculite in it which holds the moisture and nutes I'm using, other wise I would need to water daily.

I trust this is helpful.

Thank you man! I'll definitely use the 5gal pots. I'll start germinating next week.

For what it matters, I bought mine on Amazon, and the pots come in about 10 colors, I'm going on my second year and the ones I used last year I washed and replaced the soil and am using them again. Good luck.

Fabric works great outside, biggest issue is same as with plastic, keeping the root zone temperature in the window.
If your in a hot climate, small bags will be a pain to keep cool. I'm going to try some 10 gallon fabric outside this summer, our temps can hit 110 here, 3 gallon I have to bury by end of may... roots go right thru... so you could just move to larger bags to help with your space issue.

I would love to use 10 gal myself, only problem I have is moving them around to keep clandestine from big brother. I'm 75 and the weight of 10 gal of dirt with a plant is a little more than this ancient body can handle.

Keep it sparked up
dude
