New Grower Fabric pots ??

I have to upgrade to bigger pots, as the ones im using for my first grow are far too small to get the results i want. Was wondering if anyone thinks if Fabric pots or Smart pots are a good idea ?? thanks

Fabric pots/smartpots are the SHIZZZZ!!! I grow in the 5 gallon smartpot and they get huge!!! Not sure your grow area or lighting, but you would get a bigger/better response if you went into detail about you got going on. But, yes to the smartpots!!!! Type in "Magnum Grow" in the search bar and see for your self what smartpots can do.

Hey dude, thanks for the reply. I have a 2 metre sq tent, 400w hps and was thinking about dropping my 125w Cfl in there for bit more kick for the girls. Was thinking 3gal would be enough as I like to have at least 10 girls in there at the same time, and dont want them huge haha. Is any make of the fabric pots ok, or is it just best to pay a bit more for the Smart pots ? I have a mix of strains so might Taylor size of pot to specific strain.. Ok dude, ill check it out. Three gallon smart pots are what I use. Cannot speak from much experience, to new, but I do like they way my girls are growing in them. They make good sense on a theoretical level is why I decided to use them. I may switch to an airpot tho...

2g Smartpot + Coco + hydro nutes = 4 ounce autoflower. 5g Smartpot + organic soil + foliars and root drenches = big enough to outgrow my 5' tent in preflowering! Definitely the way to go, but be prepared to do some training or something to counter the larger plants, a smartpot will gain you about 20-30% over a normal pot, in my limited experience.

Thanks guys, i was thinking of three gal for some auto pounders, and two gal for Afghan kush ryder's. I will be using canna terra pro with canna nutrients, i will be very very light with the nutrients in veg phase. And i will add 30 percent perlite, and bone meal to the soil, and use bat guano to water through in flower stage. Im only a beginner, so its all trial an error and see whats works for me really. Thank you for your advice though guy's much appreciated

If I could give you one piece of advice... Keep good records, write it all down. It's easy to get lost in all of it, trust me, I am the king of overthink!! Keeping a good log helps you to focus and keep track of things.

That is good advice, i have a Autoflower diary which i put everything into. Everyplant has its own little section, so i record when it was fed, what time, when it started to flower, when it was planted. Im new to this size of grow, only done outside grows in the summer, But although im only on my first grow i think i have caught the Autoflower bug, my girls are all i can think about haha. But i also know the importance of just letting them grow and not mess about with them too much. Thank you for your advice dude

I have smart pots and air pots..both are great and will give you top notch results with everything else on your grow being spot on. Give a look into the airpots. Great videos explaining them on YouTube.

I have used both also, and I wouldn't use anything else for growing Auto Flowers in.

Thanks for sharing that with us bro. I need to start doing exactly what you are doing, instead of just trying to cram a bunch of abbreviations on a calender. I will actually start a real diary tomorrow.
