You can use the "link" button while the title is highlighted in your sig text editor...you copy the thread url ahead of time
then paste it into the text field after pushing that link button. It will "hyperlink" the URL of the thread to the thread
title words you had highlighted.

The link button is the one with the little chain link icon.
