Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to just roll and tie the fan leaves to allow more light in, considering that you are advised not to prune them due to the short life span.
Thank You..

There is something called "ponytailing" that is pretty much what you are talking about doing.
Theres more info on it somewhere around here.
Cant find it for you right now but hopefully this gets you pointed in the right direction now that you know the name of the training technique.
"Leaf tucking" is another one you would probably like to look at.
Those techniques combined with low stress training (lst) are pretty safe and effective on autos.

I defoil, and use the tucking method. I think with today's genetics, there is not as big a problem with defoiling as there used to be. My opinion only. I only do it once though.

Has anyone ever tried the big bang seed, if so, how did she produce...I ask because I am a medical patient and wondered what growing 1 plant with last in a 5 gallon bucket under 500 watt full spectrum LED all to itself...any advice is appreciated.
Thank You.
