So, 2 weeks ago I chopped the main cola. It hung in the closet for a day and was pretty much dry, then transferred to a glass baby food jar to cure for the other 13 days (roughly 13 days). Because of the lack of direct sunlight the buds were airy and lanky....but still killer potent. The calyxes are swollen and just look awesome in general. Crystals were straight amber and all fan leaves died off completely, making the harvest easy....only lifted the scissors once to cut the top. Dried, it was roughly 2 g's. I never gave it any nutrients at all. I used some water from my fish tank a few times early on, but that's it. the smell is really nice...kinda skunky and citrusy. The middle and bottom portion of the plant is where my seed production and colloidal silver application sites were. This girl gave me 7 fully formed, mature seeds...so ultimately this was a success. some of the pods that i thought would contain seeds eventually popped open and were just weird pollen sacks.
BREAKDOWN
CONTAINER: 1.5 LITRE PEANUT CONTAINER
MEDIUM: SUNSHINE MIX #4
LIGHT: INDIRECT SUNLIGHT - GROWN IN NORTH FACING WINDOW
GROW TIME: 13 WEEKS TOTAL
NUTRIENTS: NONE - OTHER THAN SOME FISH TANK WATER EARLY ON - WATER WAS ALWAYS PH'D TO 5.8-7.0
COLLOIDAL SILVER USAGE: ONCE PISTILS STARTED SHOWING I SPRAYED THE BOTTOM 4 NODES ONCE OR TWICE A DAY DAILY UNTIL BALLS APPEARED AND STARTED TO OPEN, RELEASING POLLEN. ONCE POLLEN WAS GENERATED FROM A FEW POLLEN SACKS COLLOIDAL SILVER USE WAS STOPPED. (TOP COLA WAS LEFT UNTOUCHED BY ANY COLLOIDAL SILVER TO HARVEST A BIT OF SMOKABLE BUD).
POLLEN COLLECTION: Q-TIP AND A ZIP-LOC BAGGIE IN THE FRIDGE.
SEED PRODUCTION: AFTER PLUCKING SOME POLLEN SACKS I WANTED TO SAVE, SOME STRAY POLLEN FELL ON THE FEMALE PARTS OF THE BOTTOM 4 NODES (ONCE COLLOIDAL SILVER USE IS STOPPED FEMALE BUDS WILL GROW IN BETWEEN MALE FORMED SITES MAKING POLLENIZATION ALMOST INEVITABLE). SO THAT PART WAS EASY.
I CANT THINK OF WHAT ELSE TO SAY. ANY Q'S JUST ASK.
