New Grower Fertiliser Questions !

Hey Guys,

I have read a lot stating not to use bloom fertiliser during vegetative growth and also to stop using grow fertiliser during the bloom phase.

I am using he GH Flora Duo which is a two part nutrient. Does that mean I should only use Grow during the vegetative phase and only bloom during the flowering phase ?
Or am I supposed to use both Grow and Bloom throughout the grow.

GHE run a 3 part, grow, bloom and micro i suggest using all 3 and use a GHE grow schedule at quarter strength the stated dose then slowly build to half then up to full when they in full flower... That is only if they take full strength, some strains like low strength feeds, some prefer stronger than stated on the bottle. Also continue to use veg feed schedule until plants vertical height has stopped then flush and switch to flower feed schedule

I believe GH has a feeding schedule on their web page. In actuality, you can use grow the entire grow, etc, BUT, especially for someone new, follow a feeding schedule. It takes time to learn to read your plants,etc. Without the schedule, IMO, you will have a harder time sorting out problems you may have. Knowing exactly how much and when you fed can help if you have a nutrient/ph problem, and a better chance of having a good harvest, if all else in your grow environment are good

yea it works, but whats IN IT? You trust Monsanto if you want to, personally, I'll never spend a dime on anything Monsanto makes. They are the Anti-Christ of the gardening world! And that includes GH products.

the growth nutes you use it for the first 3 o 4 weeks the switch to bloom nutes. you also might use addictive like cal mag and others. just follow the feed schedule.

Its a matter of principal, not of product. Go read up on the practices on Monsanto. And Monsanto bought GH 2 years ago. Nope, won't buy it ever, don't care how good it is. That goes for Miracle Grow, Scotts, half of the seed companies ( Monsanto bought up many of the major ones ), etc.

It would be nice to have a thread, dedicated to listing all Monsatan products. I bought GO cal/mag, then heard it was a Monsanto product.
@pop22 is there a cal/mag substitute you can recommend? Unfortunately, I am using synthetics for now. Organic will be my next leap.
