Has anyone else had the same problem that I'm having? I have a Ventech filter and centrifugal fan and they worked fabulously for the first two weeks then all of a sudden it's like there's no air coming out the ducting. When I first hooked my filter/fan up, the air flow was great, my tent had negative pressure, the opposite side of the ducting had a pretty powerful vent of air and I didn't even need to turn on my intake fan, the larger fan spun the blades with its powerful suction. Now, my tent is bowing outwards instead inward like it used to. I haven't changed anything on the filter/fan so I am completely vexed by this situation. So if anyone has had a similar problem or could shed some light on this situation, I'd greatly appreciate it, thank you.

There are only so many things that can be wrong with it... Either for some reason the fan isn't working up to snuff... check power to the fan... disassemble the unit & power up the fan to see if it's pushing air... or the filter is impacted with humidity & dust foreign particulates... Humidity + dust = mud... or your ductwork has a blockage... check flex ducts for kinks & hard turns impeding air flow... really not likely filter impacted in 2 weeks time but I won't say that's not possible... just not very probable... don't tell anyone but I have washed out filters with a hose to make them breathe better after a couple of months of use... shhhh its a big secret... If the filter you have has the media wrapped around it & it was clogged you would be able to see it is... like a dirty furnace filter... also check air intake port for blockage... I'm thinkin that about covers it... hth gl

if I had to take a potshot guess... the fan is dead...

Awesome man, thanks. That's a perfect explanation, I will take everything into consideration, thanks again!

So I just wanted to post this just in case anyone else has this same problem. So I checked my filter and there wasn't any visible blockage and then I checked it again and nothing... So then, enraged, I shook the filter and pounded it on the ground a few times then attached it back to my fan and viola, instant effect! My airflow is much better now. So the fault was the filter somehow becoming clogged even tho I didn't see any mud or anything blocking the metal mesh.

I have a Ventech fan/filter combo and the fan works great, however, I'm using a different filter and keep the Ventech filter as a back up. Thanks for the information.
