Indoor First auto grow 3x Barney's Farm Blue mammoth

Thanks guys, Agito they could probably be bigger and better but I've been trying to figure out a an issue that I'm pretty sure I got fixed ... hopefully haha

:pop::thread:i have 1 of these in DWC & 1 in a 10lt airpot at day 12 now !.... subbed & good luck :peace:

ViracochaDWC I just checked your thread out, that blue mammoth is taking off now it looks like !!! I'm subbed! I've been wanting to try a DWC grow but I don't think I'm smart enough to do a DWC and keep the PH and EC/PPM correct haha ... but on a serious note how is it trying to keep everything in order?

Hey 116.as a noob & not long at it things are quite up n down right now ...but i think it could & should be easy & everything i know i've learned on here in the last 6/7 months so if you have any experiance growing at all your 1 up on me!.the EC/PPM/PH thing is easy once you get your head around it ..change a 20lt bucket once or twice a week .but its also quite hands on ,as in you do need to keep reg checks on ec & ph as stuff happens quick.im trying to do a check in the morn & soon as i get home then again late ect ,but if you have your system dialed in and prefect & your a good grower then it seems a doddle!..so if you have plenty of time spare & spend it in your tent then go for it mate...if you want to be able to go away for a week & not think about them then check other systems out maybe !..heres some DWC grows from the pros !

I checked out every single one of those threads and I'm convinced I think... I want to try a DWC grow now! My only thing is keeping the resolutions right ph/ppm/ec with the plant eating up nutes and water and how to fill back up to get everything back right again! haha might as well try, I've got some dinafem roadrunners and dutch passion think differents on the way with some nice freebies so I may have to try a DWC grow with one of em and see how it goes!!!

go for it mate...start a journal & you will get loads of help... i will if i can ha ,but you may even get Seymour ect help you out ..all cool people here !..get a bucket & a decent air pump & away ya go bro !!!:peace:

woodsyb1 I was waiting on you to chime in and thank you so much I did want to ask you since I am using your basic soil setup, at what week did you start feeding your girls?

Sorry for the delay in response #eleventysix! I don't start adding anything until after Week 2. I'll use pure pH balanced h2O until then. Once week 3 rolls around I'll start adding some light 'grow' nutes. I usually start with a mix of Grow Big + Botanacaire 'Sweet' + Organic Cane Sugar 'Sucanat'. After week 4, I'll start gradually adding some 'bloom' nutes. But, it looks like you've got a pretty good handle on your grow and everything is coming along beautifully!! I'll be tagging along to see how things turn out. Keep up the nice work!!

Woodsyb1 its no biggie, I pretty much did exactly what you said but i fed em a bit of big bloom about week 4, seemed to work alright lol, I think I'll try your way this go around on these Think Different beans I'm waiting on.. I appreciate the kind words my man! I really like this pic from day 49 so I'll have to leave it here for ya ...

Feeding bloom early encourages flowering with autos right? My girls have needed a feed but ive choosen to give them grow instead. Im approaching week 5 and wasnt gonna start giving bloom until around about end of week 6

Giving them 'grow' nutes is a perfect way to go for the first phase of growth #ninja1. With autos the earlier you them feed 'bloom' nutes, the earlier they'll start to show flowering characterisitics. I like my autos to put more emphasis on bud production and less on actual plant growth. So, I wait until I'm into Week 5 to give the girls some 'bloom' nutes. This way I feel I've given the plant enough primary 'grow' time before I tell them it's okay to start producing some sticky buds. Generally, I feel, Week 5 - Week 6 is ideal for starting a cycle of 'bloom' nutes in with you feeding schedules. Best of luck with your grow!! Sending positive green vibes your way!! :stir:
