First Time Grow--LED--CFL--DWC--Cyco-Closet Tent

I know you guys on here love to read and watch others grow and reports...I figured I will try and keep as much posted as I can...any input will be appreciated...lord knows I will have some ???'s along the way...



So as of now Im doing 2 Royal Dwarf's from Dutch....also have 1 Valley Girl Kush F2 going just to see whats it could be!!!

specs as follows

ROOM-
2.6ftx2.6ftx5.25ft reflective tent 100% light proof
175cfm exhaust fan out attic through roof
4"x20" carbon filter
100 cfm intake booster fan connected to central air with full hepa inline filter attached to tent

Lighting-
120Watt 3w chipset LED 7 Band...(bright as all hell...hurts yer eyes)
2x 23watt sylvania 100 watt equivalant

DWC holding res. temp. 72-73 degrees
Lights on Temp 75-77 degrees
Off Temp. 69-71 degrees

will be using Cyco nutes throughout the entire grow

Now the crappy part is that I stepped on my Ph meter so as of 2 days ago my Ph was holding 5.9-6.0...have another one on the way!!!

so far so good...but only time will tell.....also I forgot to mention that this is my very first DWC grow.... :stylez rasta smoke:

oh I forgot to add...I have been using the instant Ph strips until the new meter comes in....still under 6.0...well thats what the strip is telling me...its supposed to change to a yellow color for 6.0 and its turning a very pale yellow...so Im gonna safely assume that its still decent for now...

well its day 7 since drop...the little ladies seem to be doing quite well...not really stretching all that much...still waiting on my Ph meter to show up and I also grabbed up some reflective mylar...thinking about wrapping the tanks in it and putting a piece across the top...have heard good things about it helping with res temps. I will try and post some pics soon...hopefully ya guys wont criticize me too bad!!!

UPDATE!!!

So today I wrapped the buckets in reflective mylar, also on the lid as well....hopefully this will help a bit with some temps!!! I got my new Ph meter in today...checked all 3 and wasnt all that bad...the highest was 6.4....

Got everything washed and sterilized and refilled all 3 buckets. Have Ph sitting and holding at 5.8-5.9 with a temp of 69-70f. Still done have roots popping through yet but thats to be expected I guess...still a little early I think...maybe someone can fill me in on these!! I am going to try and get some pics today or 2morrow....

well so far so good....last night I went in and changed out some of the water since we had a really hot day...dropped in a frozen bottle to each one over night....took it down to around 66...was at 80-81 with 70% humidity in the tent....had it cooled within 2 hours though...so I dont think any harm will come from these youngins!!! I added a bit of nutes to the batch...havent had anything but balanced water since the start.....put in 20ml into each bucket after temps were down.....went in this morning and they damn near doubled in size over night.. " I think he likes it Mikey" so I will continue every third day pulling water and adding fresh as well as nutes.....just to see where this goes!!!

well its day 10...yesterday the temps got pretty fun....and today is gonna be a hoot but I got another small A/C unit just so I dont have to do this temp shit anymore..lol!! I did notice that the leaves are starting to droop a bit, took the temp of each and was sitting at 72 in each. They havent grown very much...seem kinda slow but I have read before that they will do that and then they explode in growth...so we will see. Im gonna try to fix the problem by dumping and cleaning the buckets...fill up with some 6.0 water with no nutes or boosters for a couple days...I noticed there were a couple visible lines starting to show...so hopefully a decent flush will help!! I will try and pop some pics up soon...
