It had been awhile since I had grown anything, nearly 15 years since I last grew photos. Decided I would try my hand at some autos since I picked up some seeds while visiting the UK in April.
I am currently growing in a cabinet that measures 570mm x 850mm x 1800mm with a 400w COB LED lamp on a 20/4 schedule. I use a 140 CFM inline duct fan on a variable speed switch with carbon filter exhausting out of the top of the cabinet, a small oscillating fan for air circulation, and an inlet vent near the bottom.
Growing in just some locally sourced potting soil and perlite at a 2:1 ratio in a 3 gal smart pot. Trying to keep nutes simple by using GH Flora Nova Bloom and a slightly diluted Lucas Formula feed schedule.
I germinated in soil on 5/27 with it breaking the surface on 6/01. First feed was a bit early on 6/08 with a very diluted 0.5ml/l of Flora Nova Bloom to water. I started to LST on 6/18 and increased nutes to 1.5ml/l of Flora Nova Bloom on 6/20. This is also when she first showed sex and started to become really thirsty, requiring water every other day. Flowering is just about starting with pistils appearing everywhere now.
I must say, I didn't really know what to expect out of an auto, but I've been pleasantly surprised with how it has grown so far.
Attached are photos from 6/05, 6/08, 6/11, 6/14, 6/17, 6/21.
