I've been wallflowering around here for a while. This seems like the most positive cannaforum I've seen, so I signed up.
This is my second completed grow. Recently my best friend and grow partner passed away, and i lost the previous plants to neglect. I had about 3 weeks into 3 Dark Devils and a euforia. I was pretty depressed. I started over with the last DD seed.
I planted in a 7 gallon pot under a viparspectra par600 for veg, and a 600w air cooled hps after flower started. I was Im growing in a 48x24x60 tent to try to contol the humidity, as it's 10% rh in my apartment. I had a hard time balancing the ventilation, the average rh was 23% and temp was 79-81F the whole time. Honestly, I really half assed everything in this grow, I'm still coping with my friends passing. I started growing this summer, out of enchantment with the plant, and my friends need not to spend all his money on bud to deal with a GI disorder. Alot of the time I felt like it was pointless and depressing without my friend. I over watered, underwatered, screwed around with too much or too little fertilizer, "experimented" with different nutes, didn't fill the humidifier, let it get up to 90F a couple times before fixing the problem, let nutrient problems go for too long...There's a whole litany of things I did wrong. I kinda snapped out of it in the last 2 weeks and regained my normal motivation. The plant somehow pulled through. It's about day 58, and the trichs are just about all cloudy, a few amber. I hung it with alot of leaves and stem to slow the drying process, the rh is 40% in there. Ill screw around with the hunidifier and fans trying to raise it, and will probably need advice.
I feel like the process isn't as fun with no one to share it with, so I'll share it with you folks. I will appreciate any feedback or tips, I'm nervous about drying it in this low humidity
