well it seem's i'll need to up my filtration. seem's as when the light's go out the aroma increases. I have the light's off from 9am to3 pm . I took off work early yesterday and noticed it. today the wife asked if I smoked this morning! (I only wake n bake on the weekend) not good. alway's another hurdle! lol

Hey bro,

Was thinking yesterday about smell control as i dont think my girl is going to be outside for a full 24hrs for the start of flowering stage, came across a interesting post here in Tobylazlos journal where he is using lemongrass oil to hide the smell and it seems to be effective in doing so, link to the post below.

Have also been looking at "The Neutralizer" that looks to work on the same principal, but is a commercial product using essential oils and a electronic delivery system. There is also Ona Gel that will remove the smell but have read in a few places that is not a good idea to use it inside the grow room as it can have and effect on the smell and taste of the plants, but would be fine to use by the door outside of your grow.

thanks for the info Spanglish. I'm going to the hardware store to pick up some thing's for my diy exhaust filter and some of that Lemongrass oil

I've used Ona before and found it to help significantly but it doesn't last a super long time so you'll be re-purchasing. I use an ozone generator outside of the grow space in a buffer area, not sure if that's a possibility for you but it works well.

I use an ONA bucket w/ a specialized fan on top ... had the same bucket at least a year ... it was around $100 but when I hit the switch I'm magically transported to a super clean smelling public restroom ...

Anytime bro, happy to share any of my limited knowledge and hopefully be of some help.

Am swinging towards to lemongrass oil myself, but as it is the wife that will be complaining about the smell, might make her splash the cash and try The Neutralizer as well, as I could happily cover myself in eau de ganja all day.
